Luis Martinez Tres Petit Corona - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 May, 2017
I have to say i wasn't overly impressed with this cigar. My worries started when the wrapper came loose after just a few draws. To start with the taste was ok but nothing to write home about. The real issues came just over halfway when the wrapper really became an issue and then the draw became very very hot to the extend i had to leave it with a third of the stick left which is a bit of an issue with something only 4 1/2 inches long. In short a bland start and a harsh end and an annoying wrapper made this a cigar i wont order again.

La Invicta Nicaraguan Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I bought this cigar out of interest after trying other Nicaraguan cigars and due to it being reasonably priced. I enjoyed this very much while drinking a rusty nail or two. I found it smooth and mild with a spicy peppery taste which was great to counteract the sweetness of the Drambui in the rusty nail. It took me close to an hour to smoke. Definitely a bargain and worth a try.

Good budget cigar. Nice draw and good taste. Will be coming back to this one as it's a good cheap cigar.

I've only had a couple of these since I got back into cigar smoking a couple of months ago. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with them. Easy draw on them, lovely taste and a satisfying amount of smoke to blow out. Not too hot either. I've found the wrapper to be quite well constructed on both the cigars I've smoked, so I don't know if the reviewers were just unlucky, or I was lucky. I would definitely have these again. Not the best cigar I've had, but still a nice, relaxing smoke.

I'm still fairly new to the cigar world but I fell on my feet with this stick. I have always been a fan of tobacco that gives you something to think about and this certainly keeps you interested. There is a beautifully spicy taste to this cigar, and a pretty even burn. I found that you need to take your time with it or the cigar will bite back with a strong hit if you try to do a Thomas the tank engine impression but if enjoyed with a decent coffee or dark ale it gives a lovely flavour with no bitterness. Only draw back is the caps can be a little bit delicate on the occasional one but a clean cut will solve this. I bought one as a bit of selection and within the first third had already ordered another 5 as a after work smoke. For the price and the taste it can't be knocked at all!

La Invicta Nicaraguan Panetela Cigar - 1 Single

Test drove a couple of these over the festive period. First off take care when cutting the cap as it is small and seems fragile to me. The first one tore. Leaving that on one side I found this cigar to be quite enjoyable. Pleasing bouquet and flavour. Not quite as nice as budget Cuban cigars but enjoyable all the same. Taking price in to account and the fact that they are hand rolled you should give them a try. My only concern is build quality which seems variable.
