H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 25 May, 2014
Good construction nice and light brown wrapper. Smells earthy with coffee hints in the back. On the fire up I got a great draw with a medium body. creamy taste on the retrohale which lingers on the palate for a while. It almost reminds me of clarified butter My sample burned fairly even. There was one point where I touched it up but it got back to business right away with no fuss. I really enjoyed this cigar. It lasted around 35 mins or so. Fairly consistent with its taste and performance all the way with only a slight increase in earthy tones towards the end. Overall a good little cigar. Slightly on the expensive side, but worth trying the once. I'm definitely going try the others in the H Upmann range.

H. Upmann Connoisseur A Cigar - 1 Single

I'll keep it short and sweet. If you like smoking the Upmann magnum 46 & 50, you should try this. Its a very smooth sweet tasting cigar. It has a thick creamy taste with dark chocolate snf coffee taste. The amount of smoke it produces is similar to its siblings. The only negative issue I found was that the burn was not even but saying that, ig built I would say 2.5 inches of ash before falling off. I've still got another one and will see of that has uneven burn or whether it was that specific cigar that had the burn issue. In conclusion, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 22 February, 2014
This cigar was recommended to me yesterday for my "birthday smoke", and I must admit it was wonderful. I have not smoked many cuban's and the ones I have were too strong for me but the Epicure Especial is "just right". No problem with the lighting up, smooth easy draw with even burn and a very pleasant taste. All in all, this is a mild cigar but mild in a cuban is like medium in other cigars I have tried and for me this was perfect. Highly recommended.

Henri Wintermans Half Corona - Pack of 5 cigars
Date Added: Wednesday 15 January, 2014
As a predominantly hand rolled smoker, I often find times where it is unnecessary and the lack of time in which to smoke even a petit corona, that is where machine made cigars come in and boy do the Dutch do them well, these are a really nice mild smooth smoke for when time is short, their sweetness is a nice touch too, they do have a very short finish. Sadly. But flavours are quite woody and earthy with a slight peppery grit and a touch of sugar cane like sweetness.

Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas Cabinet Selection Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 11 December, 2013
I have smoke two of these beauties and have a third cooking in my Humidor as I type. Yes it's a mild Cigar so not for those who require power house cigar's. But it has been one of the most consistent cigars I have bought to sample compared to other brands. Alot of sweet/spicy flavours throughout the whole smoke. Consistent burn from start to finish and a cigar which won't knock the new smoker on his back. Be prepared for two hour's of sheer smoking bliss.

H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Excellent draw but the burn was uneven although this may have been my fault when lighting it due to my eagerness to taste it. Good ash until I removed the wrapper to smoke it to the nub. The initial few draws were quite harsh and unpleasant however it quickly mellowed into a delicious smooth smoke with flavours of spice, leather and cocoa. Overall a great little cigar which will definitely become a permanent addition to my humidor. Highly recommended!
