Big boy Doubles like this need time and respect. A stogie to smoke when you got a lovely summer day is perfect. After a few very nasty hot humid days in the Uk we were gifted with a warm but slightly cooler day. The day had a nice cool breeze, warm but cooler and comfortable. I sat in my back garden and lit this bad boy up.
The cigar started light with a slightly creamy, oaky taste. Second third it came into its own; more cream, caramel and a slight sweetness that I would describe as a hint of strawberry. One hour in and I realised the cigar had more kick than I thought slightly overdosing on nicotine I needed to slow down some. I took it easier and spread it out with more gaps between draws and walked up and down some.
I debated aspects of life, thought bout things in a relaxed pleasant way, solutions to problems work. The final third was a surprise. Most cigars gain intensity at this point but the intensity was not overwhelming.
