Camacho Corojo Machitos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 19 July, 2020
1. Appearance & Construction Cigar looks decent wrapper was dark like chocolate had a slight rough feel to it but surface of the wrapper leave had no visible blemishes or bump. Cigar was tightly packed and had decent weight to it. Red label on the body of the dark cigar looked ridiculously cool. Bold, vibrant and in your face. 15 points. 2. Flavor & Aroma. From the outset this smelt strong and spicy. Flavor was a bit too strong for my liking. At no point did it balance out or mellow, it was consistently strong and spicy throughout all 3rds of the cigar. If your into strong cigars youd love this but its not for me. 10 points. 3. Smoking Characteristics. Cutting the cigar was pretty easy but for some reason it was difficult to light. Not sure if the cigar was too moist didnt feel like it was. Draw was tight, had to puff quite hard to get a decent smoke and this continued throughout the entire cigar. Ash was not white more greyish but did roll off easily. The smoke itself was cool and at no point did it feel warm. Burn was pretty even until the 2nd 3rd where it did

I promise you that if you swapped the label for a cohiba label and charged £30 for it, some of the people giving this a 1 star review would be waxing poetically about how amazing this is. Whilst it certainly is not a top 25 all time smoke or anything, it is a GREAT smoke for the price. The government makes impossible for the average British gives enthusiast to be able to afford to smoke a premium cigar everyday. But these ARE affordable, even in this country, and for the price they are exceptional. You cannot do better this side of £10 and these are only a fiver. Satisfying smoke, good construction, nice flavours. Perhaps one day the chancellor will remove duty from premium cigars as they make up a tiny fraction of tobacco duty, but in the likely even that never happens and you can buy a box of le bijou 1922 for £100 like in the states, this is a good alternative. Overall this is a 4 star smoke, but I give it a 5 for the value

1. Appearance & Construction. The cigar looked a little rough also felt rough and slightly bumpy in areas. Had good weight to it considering its a small cigar. Label is bold, vibrant, and in your face. 10 points. 2. Flavor & Aroma. From the get go there is a spicy smell to the cigar. You can tell straight away this is going to be a slightly strong cigar. The flavor and aroma is consistent from the pre-light and during the course of the smoke. Slight sweetness with a kick of spice. Big bold in your face flavours that matches the label. The flavor was consistent throughout all 3rds of the cigar. Surprisingly the final 3rd did not get bitter and I could smoke right to the nib. 25 points. 3. Smoking Characteristics. From the outset everything came with ease for this cigar. From cutting to lighting. The burn was pretty even, and at halfway through the 1st 3rd it did start canoeing but rolling it around and smoking it sorted it out did not need to be touched up with a lighter. Ash was white and easy to roll off. The draw was perfect, effortless. Makes me really tempt

At to use pen nub to open hole at bottom to allow draw to come through, after that was good to go. Taste largely tea, herb, light cream, light wood. I donÂ’t think it developed massively maybe slight increase in creaminess. The burn, construction and smoke output was good. Strength was med not a light smoke not too heavy. For its price this is not a bad stogie.

Honestly don’t agree with the other comments. Admittedly, not the most exciting blend of tastes. This stick lasted for one hour with an even burn. Smooth to smoke. No harshness. No bitterness. A little bit of creamy smoke. Peppery on the retro hale. A lovely nicotine buzz had me mellowed for an hour afterwards. Nice aroma. A good tasty one hour smoke for a fiver. Not bad at all. Would definitely buy again.

Smooth and mellow. Doesn’t provide a strong buzz or taste. Subtle Spicy notes on the palette. Pleasant after taste. Nice even burn. Got a bit hot and squishy in the last inch, so I let it go out. Smoke time approx 30 minutes. Not bad, 4 out of 5 for value. Would definitely buy again and great service from Cigars Ltd.
