Cuban Short Pleasures Sampler - 4 Cigars
Date Added: Monday 04 February, 2019
I have recently smoked the last of the sticks from this sampler. I found that the small club Corona and the divinos were both outstanding smokes that I enjoyed every second of. The no 5 and the siglo1, however, I found rather disappointing. Both had a very tight draw and the effort needed to smoke them is my lasting memory of them. The Cuaba was the pick of the bunch for me.

C.Gars Ltd Double Dutch Senoritas Cigar - Pack of 10
Date Added: Monday 28 January, 2019
Its taken a while for these to grow on me because at first I was not all that impressed; too mild, lacked character but theyve grown on me. The flavours are subtle and took a little time to develop on my palate. As, you continue to smoke the flavours build with creamy leathery notes, building so mild coffee an a hint of Cuba in there I swear, that slightly saline taste in the mouth toward the final third. All in all theyre good, not great, but value for money.

Charatan Black Flake Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin (Dunhill Dark Flake)
Date Added: Saturday 05 January, 2019
On bowl 3 of this, supposedly a replacement for Dunhill Dark Flake. Its not. The tin note is fruity, the Dark Flake is rawer, more tobacco. The flakes are similar in appearance, cut, thickness, length. Taste is also different, certainly a good quality but not as good as the Dunhill original. The start of the bowl hits you with a definite fruit flavour, not unpleasantly just assuredly. Halfway down the bowl the flavour fades somewhat reverting to a purer tobacco taste. The final shock to the palate is a subtle hint of vanilla just before the last few breaths. An enjoyable tobacco I found but certainly NOT Dunhill Dark.

Chinchalero Torcidos Tres Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 03 January, 2019
Right, now this little chap just looks seyx doesnt it, and the way it smokes isnt half bad either. Remember when buying this is a Petit Corona, ie. short of length, but big in personality. I smoked the first on in just over 20m, but thats just me, out walking with the dogs in a brisk English winter morning on the east coast. So the wind may have contributed negatively of my time spent enjoying this lil fella. I found the flavour to me mid to mild, starting smooth and ramping up the warm woody flavours mid-way in. I finished without feeling any scorch to the back of the throat or bitterness which was a nice touch. Would I buy again? Yes I think I would. I purchased this one in a selection of cheap cigars, but it doesnt give a cheap experience. Recommended and a new favourite.

Cohiba Siglo III Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 27 December, 2018
Just smoking one now. First impressions are that it looks good, feels great in hand. Even burn with a mild flavour. The draw, however, is terrible. Straight cut and now even prodded through to help. I held off Cohiba, due to it being a major brand, sometimes these run off established reputation. I am majorly disappointed and think this will be my last for a while. I duly hope that this is a bad roll but compared to lesser brands, this is no way a quality cigar that I expected. I understand this is probably a mid low end of their range but, for the money, is no excuse for such a prestigious name.

Camacho Connecticut Machitos Cigar - Pack of 6
Date Added: Wednesday 26 December, 2018
Good looking little cigars. Good for a quick smoke but I found that the flavours weren’t the best for me. So that’s why I am only giving 3 stars.
