Borkum Riff Bronze Pipe Tobacco 50g Pouch
Date Added: Wednesday 22 June, 2011
I've been a bourbon drinker for the best part of ten years so when I saw this I just had to buy it. And what a decision that was! Although similar in taste to the BR Malt Whiskey, this tobacco just smells like heaven in a pouch! It's so sweet, and burns to leave an aroma of fruit smouldering on a open campfire - those are the best words to describe it, but they don't do it justice. Put simply, anyone with a pipe MUST try this!!!!!!

Bolivar Royal Corona Cigar - Box of 25

(Part 2) Still lots of lovely, smooth smoke on each draw.Medium/full body throughout the first 2/3. Into the final 1/3 and now a full bodied cigar which was much more complex with some fantastic flavours evident, the only one of which I could confidently pin down was a dark, roasted coffee bean flavour as the final 1/3 developed.Just a fantastic smoke that I really did not want to lay down.Full of flavour, always smooth and never hostile in any way, shape or form and a lovely strong finish on the palate. This was the finest cigar I've smoked this year so far and it encapsulated everything I love about Habanos.

Bolivar Royal Corona Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Saturday 14 May, 2011
The cigar has a slightly box pressed shape,is perfect in its construction and has a lovely dark and oily wrapper. It surprised me a little in that it seemed to resist clipping just for a second which made me wonder if was slightly over humidified but that didn't prove to be the case. The pre-light draw was good and had the sweet and floral Bolivar flavour and the cigar has a lovely feel to it in my hands.I had to just slightly correct the burn within the first two or three puffs but after that it remained perfect and burned throughout with a light grey ash. From the get go there was copious amounts of beautifully aromatic smoke that filled the room. The first 1/3 displayed lovely floral,Bolivar spiciness with lots of smooth smoke on each draw with the spice leading to a lingering pepper finish towards the end of the first 1/3.The second 1/3 still spicy but less so with the pepper giving way to some wonderful earthy, floral tones and a definite but subtle creaminess.Still lots of lovely, smooth smoke on each draw.Medium/full body throughout the first 2/3. Into the final 1/3 and now a

I cant disagree with reviewers comments in relation to flavour but its fair to say I have had issue with the BRCs construction on a regular basis. In the box they consistently look fabulous but their performance when lit can vary wildly .... from the solidly plugged to the odd alarmingly fast burner. Good examples are undoubtedly fine cigars but I've thrown too many away after 5 minutes and several cuts to award top marks.

Bolivar Royal Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 12 April, 2009
Have just indulged in my first of these, after a full Sunday roast and appreciated with (firstly) a fresh coffee and (secondly) a dark rum. Currently I'm trying to work out how to muster the money for a full box - this cigar is damned near perfect. Excellent draw from finish to end, never hostile, never bitter, never tarry. Just superb. Strong flavours of coffee and black assam tea, creamy with a cocoa hint, and an aftertaste of smoked mopani wood. Took this fellow all the way to the nub and it could do no wrong. Agree with the other writers that the nicotine hit is something out of this world, and I for one would not consider this cigar on an empty belly. Buy some, and enjoy then on a full stomach, and you might be grinning as much as I am right now.

Bolivar Tubos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single by ArchivedCgarsReviews
Excellent stuff. ;-)))) Having been scared once by a Number 3 Tubo - the nicotinal equivalent of Hiroshima - I approached the idea of smoking ANOTHER Bolivar with trepidation (to say the least) - but the bigger cousin to the Number 3 is a real pussycat. ;-)) My advice to newbies (for what it`s worth) is that the Number 2 is a NOT a stick of dynamite and can be smoked to the last inch (cheapskate) without friction burns appearing on your lungs. ;-)))) As Mo says above, "I`m no fan of tubed cigars, but the Boli 2 is a very good corona indeed." It`s full bodied, full flavoured and simply drips with Boli spices - a really pleasant and exotic smoke. You certainly know you`ve had one - it`s not a cigar for the first timer, perhaps - but !!!! - well, with so many characterless cigars on the market, this certainly has a personality all of it`s own and you`ll certainly remember smoking it. ;-)) Recommended - and- as far as tubos go - HIGHLY recommended. Five out of five, no two doubts - light up one of these, pour y`self an espresso and - a good time`ll be had by all. Thumbs up. ;-)))) writt
