Adorini Cedar Humidor Medium Sized Tray (AD024)
Date Added: Thursday 28 June, 2018
I bought this tray to compliment my Venezia deluxe and give me a bit more storage. The tray is as you would expect a nice well made humidor tray, however on receiving it I tried it for size prior to seasoning only to find it didnt fit. It was slightly too large in the width and bearing in mind there may be a slight increase post seasoning. It may have been a one off due to a manufacturing faux Pas but it was easily rectified with a bit of work on a sander to slightly decrease the width. Once in it definitely complimented the humidor although the inclusion of 4 small triangular pieces of cedar would have been nice in order to use as supports instead of resting on dividers (just a thought Adorini) : )....Happy enough with it despite the small glitch.

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Double Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 24 June, 2018
Firstly can I say I am relatively new to cigars and as such have been trying various brands, types etc. On looking at reviews I decided to try the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 and the double robusto, having tried both I can safely say the double robusto was an amazing smoke right from the outset. It lit very easily the burn was crisp and very even oodles of smoke and lots of taste. First third was cedar and leather with a subtle hint of sweetness this maintained right through until the last third when it became a tad stronger and slightly more woody but very pleasantly so. I just did not want this cigar to finish, draw was excellent, nice burn time, I managed 1hour 15mins of pure heaven accompanied by a very nice shiraz....I love robusto size cigars and this will definitely feature highly on my purchase list when filling my humidor.....try it...you wont regret it.

A.J. Fernandez Last Call Geniales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 20 June, 2018
Purchased on a recommendation from Evan at the Liverpool store. Initial look and smell ok. Once lit the burn was very even and draw was good. However this was just not for me. I found it to be a very rough smoke. Not well balanced at all. A little surprised this was recommended along with a Montecristo No5 as they are incomparable. In my opinion there are better Cubans out there for the same money.

Alec Bradley Tempus Genesis Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 16 June, 2018
I didnt think there was all that much pepper at all in this. The flavour was great though, very savoury, pairs well with bits of dark chocolate. The flavour actually reminded me of a sour cabbage stew and buttered toast, probably the sour and crispy toast notes. The only reason this cigar gets a 4/5 is because of the uneven burn, with that said Ill probably have to try a few more as this really suited my palette.

Alec Bradley Black Market Punk Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single

This is my first ALEC Bradley, we got off to a little bit of a shaky start, but I’m pleased to say that things improved, very much so. Normally at this point, I’d be writing something about the construction, but the packaging itself is stunning, it’s in your face and sticks two fingers up at the traditional cigar bands, giving you something different and unique. Construction is simply excellent with a dark almost Maduro wrapper, and impressive attention to detail around the cap. The unlit aroma is gorgeous, lots of pepper and chocolate, with some molasses and cedar thrown in for good measure and cries out for you to smoke it. After application of a punch, it lit easily after a through toasting, producing a very strong and very peppery finish, that was way too strong for my palette. At this point it’s fair to say that I almost put it down to an incompatible choice, but as I’d loved everything about it, I felt I owed it to persevere. I’m glad I did as a few minutes later it settled in and whist still strong, started to deliver a bit of dark chocolaty sweetness and s

Arturo Fuente Exquisitos Cigar - 1 Single

As a beginner to the world of cigars - theres only 3 letters to describe it - wow! The first third was smooth and chocolatey, transforming into a more woody flavour towards the end. Really enjoyable rich aroma. Holds 1+inch ash which for a stick of this size seems really good! Nice tight seams on the wrapper, really solid construction, a slight glue mark from excess on the band but thats no bother as its really far up. A better experience than a RyJ No. 2 I had the other day which was over double the price of this stick! A 45 min gran reserva smoke for a great price that Im glad I tried - and will definitely order more in future purchases!
