Sadly my experience with this cigar was poor to say the least.
Build quality was really poor, draw poor and it refused to stay lit at all. Wrapper started unravelling from the foot end whilst lighting. In the end I just gave up and binned it.
Absolute waste of time and money. Really disappointed with this one.
Worst cigar I have received from CGars as part of the subscription service.
On a more positive note the Joya black was fantastic. And to be balanced the majority of cigars I have received are excellent.
I suspect this particular one slipped through the quality control net.

Tried one of these from a local source, and i have to say how dissapointed i was, maybe it would have been a different cigar had i ordered it from CGars? However my review of it is as follows.
Trying to light this was difficult as the wrapper just blackens instantly and fails to burn correctly resulting in constant relighting and a near impossibility to smoke unless you keep removing the unburnt wrapper which extinguishes the cherry through lack of air.
Taste is ok, nothing to write home about, produces plenty of smoke but not in the right direction.
Perhaps try one from CGars, it may be different, but i certainely will not be trying this one again.

Excellent!
This is my first purchase from this site and I am more than happy! I am only new into the cigar industry, and for a first humidor: simply outstanding! They even put fragile stickers on the package box at no expense! That shows that they really care about their customers and products!
I currently have my humidor seasoning at the moment and so far so good!
Also, another thing is that it comes with the humidification crystals, not the cheap foam, though I am pleased with that effort I was planning on getting Boveda packs anyway.
Enough about that, here are some pros and cons:

Nicely constructed cigar, with a very unique flavour, somewhat spicy, good ash and an easy draw - not to tight. Last third of this cigar had a slight bitterness almost like a dark chocolate. Was a pleasing 30 minute smoke.

Superb cigar, always consistently good construction and nice even burn. Lots of flavour and after taste, medium to strong, but not too strong for those wishing to try a more full bodied smoke. Well worth the relatively modest price, although were they a tad less I would have a box in the humidor.

For a cigar at this price I was really impressed with the quality and the taste of the cigar. If you view this, buy it! You will not be disappointed!
