Tried one of these from a local source, and i have to say how dissapointed i was, maybe it would have been a different cigar had i ordered it from CGars? However my review of it is as follows.
Trying to light this was difficult as the wrapper just blackens instantly and fails to burn correctly resulting in constant relighting and a near impossibility to smoke unless you keep removing the unburnt wrapper which extinguishes the cherry through lack of air.
Taste is ok, nothing to write home about, produces plenty of smoke but not in the right direction.
Perhaps try one from CGars, it may be different, but i certainely will not be trying this one again.

I bought a pack of 3 of these back in January this year along with a 3 pack of MonteCristo to top up my humour.
I had recently finished a job lot of Cohibas that I had bought while on holiday last year, and I just wanted to try a couple of different brands to see if there was one I liked more than another.
Of the 3 brands, I would say that the Romeo y Julieta had the smoothest smoke of them all with a good even burn.
Id definitely buy more of these again.

I really like these panetelas.
similar price to Dutch everyday cigars but I prefer the flavour, plenty of smoke for a slim cigar, and can last 40 minutes if you smoke them gently.

Save your money. If you are looking for a budget smoke this isn’t it. This half corona is acrid with a foul aroma. I suggest spending a little more and smoking the Upmann

As someone who is new to cigars and doesnt have a big budget to spend, Im very much a review buyer, looking at what is getting highly rated in my price range, so seeing the reviews on these I decided to order one. Unfortunately after trying it I was very dissapointed, right from cutting it, it was very flaky, with the outside layer starting to peel, lighting it took some patience and multiple attempts then when it did light it was an uneven burn, with very bitty ash and a heavy draw!! Overall not a good looking cigar and not an enjoyable smoke.
For someone new to cigars I would definitely recommend a Nicaraguan La Invicta or a Conquistador corona instead

As somebody who doesnÂ’t have a huge budget for cigars so canÂ’t afford to be spending huge amounts on big Cubans, this is a FANTASTIC alternative!! Only been experimenting with cigars for the past few months and this is by far a firm favourite. Very nice looking cigar, great flavour, lovely even burn, holds its ash well, lights beautifully, easy draw and plenty of smoke.
Could not fault it at all!! Will definitely be getting more of these.
If your looking for a good size cigar but donÂ’t want to spend big money on Cubans this is a brilliant one to go with.
