Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Petit Panetela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 08 January, 2026
The Davidoff The Late Hour felt like a cigar designed for slower, more deliberate smoking, and it immediately stood out from other Davidoff blends I’ve tried. Knowing that the tobacco is aged in Scotch whisky casks added a layer of intrigue before lighting, though the cigar never leans into gimmicks. On the cold draw, I picked up dark cocoa, leather, and a slightly sweet, malty note. Once lit, the smoke was rich and dense, with flavors of espresso, dark chocolate, and oak dominating the first third. The strength was medium-to-full, but impressively smooth. There was a refined bitterness—like strong black coffee—that stayed balanced rather than sharp. As the cigar progressed, subtle sweetness crept in, along with hints of dried fruit and spice, rounding out the darker profile nicely. Construction was excellent throughout: an even burn, effortless draw, and consistent smoke output. By the final third, the cigar deepened further, becoming more earthy and leathery while maintaining control and elegance. For me, The Late Hour felt like Davidoff stepping confidently into richer te

Joya de Nicaragua Black Toro Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line)
Date Added: Wednesday 07 January, 2026
This is such a good cigar. Perfect construction only needed one touch with a lighter over 80 minutes smoke. Nice sweet with a lot of smoke. Cherry with dark chocolate and coffee then more coffee but still sweet and little bit creamy finishing with earth flavour. Absolutely beautiful cigar. I recommend it a specially if you in dark flavours. A while back I had joya red but I think this one is much better. Not really strong and very smooth.

Partagas Club Cigarillos - 1 Single

Ok for a 10-12 minute smoke, for a cigar of this size better than a cafe crème or hamlet but still not great, taste wise it just tastes like a cheap cigar, still looking for a cheaper day to day alternative but this won’t be it sadly.

Casa Carrillo by E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 05 January, 2026
This is the best cigar in my opinion! It's very complex but super smooth, worth a box! It starts a bit spicy with coffee then it gets sweeter and more chocolate, I think it's better than the smaller prequel format. Construction is perfect and it's a must try if you like espresso over latte coffee 10/10

Gurkha Heritage Collection Limited Edition Robusto Maduro Corto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 04 January, 2026
Second Gurkha I've had after the Fat Boy...which is considerably better in my opinion. Feels light in the hand, single V cut produced a really open, airy draw but surprisingly makes massive amounts of thick, white smoke. Solid medium body and low/medium strength, lots of spicy pepper alongside a touch of coffee, dry leather and dusty, dry cedar, very dry and quite smokey in a cigarette type way....which wasn't great. Construction was decent enough, one minor correction needed but ash was super fragile and flaky. Probably wouldn't have again.

Rocky Patel Gold Label Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 03 January, 2026
I had two of this cigars. Unfortunately I must say I was not impressed, first one had quite poor construction ash was very flakey and it wasn't an even burn I had to use my lighter quite a bit, second cigar was much much better construction wise and it had a decent even burn. Taste wise it just wasn't for me it wasn't bad but not great either just didn't hit the right spot. Overall it's a good cigar just not my flavour profile and all tho first one I've smoked had a bad construction second one was better then decent. Just not for me 6/10
