My first smoke after a 12 year break and what a welcome return! I chose the half corona size because I wanted to ease my way back in. I always liked Upmann in the past for their full bodied flavours and I was certainly rewarded with this small smoke - full flavour, light smoke, warm taste and soft on the palette. The notes stayed with me all day and it was good to be able to savour that all evening long. It is great to be back and I will be adding this little beauty to my on-line basket again very soon.

Partagas Serie E No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single

Wrapper and construction: lovely even milk chocolate with only light veining. Well constructed with a large cap and no tight areas.
Prelight: nice draw, not too light or tight. Light cedar balanced with an earthy backbone.
Lit: slightly acrid through the first 1/4 inch this swiftly disappeared leaving a lovely smooth smoke with classic partagas flavours, earthy, caramel, leather and sweet wood with a hint of white pepper. Warmer in the second half it was nonetheless equally pleasant. Paired exceptionally well with the slightly smokey, black cherry of a fine Toscana.

Chinchalero Novillo Cigar - 1 Single

Hi Im very new to cigar smoking I havent found my favourite yet I bought three of these and tried my first just now , unfortunately my humidor is a little high so I struggled with the draw a bit but I found it a very nice smoke to me a little bitter at first but into the second third and final third fragrant and a pleasant like smoke , I will buy these again in hindsight I cigar punch I think for me would be more advantageous.

A really excellent mild cigar difficult to fault. Good draw and ash retention all at a competitive price.

Nice even burn, but that’s about it. Not much going on flavour wise - flat and bitter. There are far better options for the price.

Montecristo Puritos Cigar - Pack of 5

Montecristo cigars for me have long been the gold standard of cigars along with a few other select brands. From this 5 packet of Puritos 4 were the perfect mid-afternoon smoke paired with a cold drink in the sun lasting 10min approx, smooth draw and all the deep rich flavours that I have come to expect from this brand. However 1 was tough on the draw, bitter at times and the wrapper came away mid smoke. I can not convey enough that this is a rarity for Montecristo cigars. Overall great a smoke for all occasions, worth a try.
