Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 31 July, 2020
1. Appearance & Construction. This cigar didnt look that great, had a thin veiny wrapper. The wrapper was unraveling near the label so I just carefully slid the label up a tiny bit to hold it in place. 10/15. 2. Flavor & Aroma. From the outset there was a small chocolatey smell. I wasnt expecting much from this cigar but wow was I supprised. Full body but not strong that it knocked me off my feet. There was a slight woody and floral taste but a more prominant creamy taste with hints of milk chocolate and vanilla. Once you get halfway through the 2nd 3rd you get a slight hint of peppery spice but not overwhelming. Thought the flavours were blended to perfection. 25/25. 3. Smoking characteristics. Cigar cut and lit easily, did burn slightly unevenly throughout the smoke. Ash was a greyish white that stayed on the cigar right to the end. Draw was effortless. 20/25. 4. Overall experience. From the outset I wasnt expecting much from this cigar. Probably due to ignorance and not knowing the Inka brand. Only purchased it as it was an Orchant selection so

1. Appearance & Construction Cigar had a nice dark brown wrapper, smooth to touch even though the wrapper was veiny.  Was a tad dry near the foot at there was a slight crack. Tobacco was filled nicely and the cigar had decent weight to it. Didnt look amazing. I mean there are cigars you see and your reaction is wow. From the look of this cigar and the label you could tell this wasnt a high end cigar. 10/15. 2. Flavor & Aroma. Before even lighting the cigar there was a strong earthy smell. During the course of the smoke the flavor was earthy, leathery with hints of coffee, but there was an over empowering hint of fiery peppery spice that was there in the background. If the spicy-ness was a tad less the flavor wouldve been outstanding. 17/25. 3. Smoking Characteristics. Everything came easy with this cigar. Cutting to lighting was effortless. Burn was uneven to begin with but with a couple of touch ups and by the time it got to the 2nd 3rd it was burning beautifully. Ash was white like snow and stayed on the cigar all the way to the nib. Draw was heavy and a litt

Romeo y Julieta Churchills Untubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 30 July, 2020
Unfortunately the Churchill i purchased had some visible imperfections, with the wrapper coming away a bit at the cap and also at the middle of the cigar. Rectified it crudely as best i could. Thankfully when cut and lit the draw was good throughout. First half of the cigar was pleasant and enjoyable with only one minor touch up required. When i reached the second half, the flavours became less enjoyable and the cigar became prone to regular combustion issues, having to touch up the burn many times. I once read somewhere Churchill used to smoke half a stogie and then threw it away… from my experience i can believe it. Disappointing smoke overall and not good value for money IMHO.
