Gave this a go after a heavy meal of spaghetti Bolognese and a healthy dose of Malbec, and it worked wonderfully. Started of with the last of the Malbec and finished it with a strong black Colombian coffee. Even burn throughout, although the draw was very tight and needed a bit of coaxing with an enhancer and a bit of heavy cutting. But it was worth the effort. Consistently smooth throughout with little, subtle changes and overall a pleasant smoke. Nothing to write home about, but definitely worth a punt. If youre not sure Id say go for it. Grab a couple and see what you think. Its certainly good enough for me to want to try other vitolas from Cuaba.

Excellent construction and my v-cut produced a perfect draw. The first third exhibits a mild peppery taste combined with roasted coffee and cocoa. As the second third starts it’s almost like the cocoa develops into a dark chocolate taste and the cigar becomes less dry and sweeter. Notes of peanut butter and cinnamon start emerging and provide quite a contrast to the first third. The final third sees the nut theme develop with almond and peanut prevalent. Rubbish. Seriously rubbish. Flavours are decent if you can get it to burn properly but the burn is the most uneven on a cigar Ive ever seen. The wrapper started unravelling halfway through and it stopped burning several times. Dont waste your money.

Easily the best of the budget cigars in my opinion. Bought a few as humidor fillers and found them better than some mid range smokes. Will be a regular purchase for me.

A real nice smoke to have with a coffee.
These small smokes last about 20 mins each & it makes these ideal for coffee breaks.
Hints of peat and yet not overpowering.
Both my wife and I love the mild tobacco used in these.

After enjoying the heavy weight flying pig of the same blend, I thought I'd try the Toro. I was not disappointed. This was a perfectly constructed stick, with an easy draw which I lit only once. Consistent, thick, satisfying smoke which intensified throughout the two hours it took me to savour. Chocolate, espresso, and woody notes - bordering on tar but in a nice way. A very satisfying smoke indeed - highly recommended.
