Inka Secret Blend Blue Bombaso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 01 October, 2025
The Inka Secret Blend Blue Bombaso was an interesting smoke for me, especially as someone still at the early stages of getting to know different regions and blends. Being a Peruvian cigar, it stood out right away since most of my experiences so far have been Cuban or Nicaraguan. On the cold draw, there was a light earthiness and a hint of sweetness, almost like dried fruit. Once lit, the first third opened with smooth, mellow flavors—cedar, toast, and a touch of creaminess. It felt very approachable, which I appreciated. As it developed, I started picking up more herbal notes mixed with nuts, and a little black pepper spice crept in to give it some character. The smoke was medium-bodied overall, not too light but not overpowering either. The construction was decent: the draw was consistent, though the burn line wavered here and there, requiring a minor touch-up. Midway through, there was a slightly bitter edge that came and went, but when it mellowed, the cigar returned to a balance of wood, earth, and soft sweetness. It’s not the most complex cigar I’ve tried, but it offered e

Tsubota Pearl - Bolbo Pipe Lighter - Silver Satin
Date Added: Wednesday 01 October, 2025
Purchased this lighter 4 years from C.Gars, I was very pleased with it until recently - the flame adjuster stopped working properly and wouldn't make the flame bigger. Turns out this is a common issue with all of these styles of pipe lighters - gas residue build up etc. Unfortunately there isn't anyone in the UK who is able to repair Tsubota lighters. So unless I travel to Japan to have it repaired it looks like I'm going to have to purchase an IM Corona.

White Elephant Sahara Pipe Tobacco - 50g Tin
Date Added: Monday 29 September, 2025
White Elephant Sahara is a unique aromatic that delivers a pleasantly smooth and exotic smoking experience. The flavor profile leans towards a warm, sweet spice with subtle hints of fruit and floral notes, making it both distinctive and approachable. The room note is inviting without being cloying, and the tobacco burns evenly with minimal relights. It is mild in strength but rich in character, making it a great choice for those who enjoy a flavorful yet gentle aromatic. A fine blend to savor slowly, especially in a dedicated aromatic pipe. I would definitely buy again.

Bolivar Tubos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 29 September, 2025
The Bolívar No.2 Tubos was a cigar I approached with a mix of excitement and caution, since the brand has a reputation for being fuller-bodied and more intense than some of the Cubans I’ve tried so far. Opening the tubo, I was greeted with that distinct Cuban aroma—earthy, woody, and a little sweet. The construction was excellent, with a solid feel and no soft spots. On the cold draw, I picked up subtle notes of hay and cedar, with just a hint of spice. Once lit, the cigar wasted no time in showing character. The first third delivered rich, earthy flavors, backed by a peppery spice that tingled on the tongue. It wasn’t overpowering, but it definitely had more bite than, say, a Romeo y Julieta No.2. The smoke was thick and aromatic, with hints of leather and roasted coffee coming through as it developed. The draw was smooth, and the burn stayed mostly even throughout, needing only a small correction near the middle. By the halfway point, the cigar settled into a satisfying balance of wood, cocoa, and spice, with a touch of sweetness keeping things interesting. Toward the final t
