Regius Connecticut Robusto Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Tuesday 24 August, 2021
In the scheme of things Im pretty new to cigars but Ive had probably around 20 different ones so far. These cigars for me are great and a real bargain compared to what else is out there, my favourite cigar up until now is a cohiba siglo 3 but if Im honest it wasnt 3 x as good as this one in fact for me it was better but not by much at all. This is definitely my go to staple.

Davidoff Primeros Escurio Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 23 August, 2021
So after my last Escurio which was not good, I decided to have another and this one was much better, it was not harsh and was smoother with a more balanced blend of sweet and spice creating a flavourful and aromatic smoke, much like a Petit Robusto Escurio Id had before. So looks like I just got a bad one.

Pretty good value for money. Smoked fairly fast and slightly uneven burn but nothing to complain about. Nice taste and aroma, very little smoke. All in all worth £10 and Id happily smoke another

Good burn and draw as usual on a Davidoff but the smoke was a bit bitter and peppery, not as smooth as I was hoping.

These cigars have some character to them. Just in looks and smell. They’re dry cured they have this unique look, withered and they look old. The smell at first, it was powerful. They have what to my nose at least, smells rather meaty and they do have the appearance of dried beef. They’re rather on the small side, and that’s to be expected since I’ve been purchasing a few Italian cigars to try. Lighting was fine, no burn issues. The draw was surprising smooth. The characteristic look of the cigar gives the impression it will be a super tight draw, but it was a pleasant smoke and very enjoyable. The tastes were very woody, oak I think. It was like tasting charred wood. It was a lovely smoke and I felt like Clint Eastwood for thirty mins. My old ,Nonna was from Sicily and her father smoked Italian cigars, so it was a lovely smoke thinking of family generations gone. Over all, I think people maybe put off that they’re rather characteristically ugly cigars, but appearances are always deceiving. They smoke well, they burn mostly even and they smell and feel great. As always, I think s

By far the worst cigar I have purchased. It took several attempts to light and the outer layer unraveled. Absolute waste of money.
