Romeo y Julieta No. 3 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 22 December, 2022
The leading flavour of this cigar is simply tabacco. The notes are earth, charred wood, leather..etc. There is pepper and spice in the final third on the pallet but not heavily on the retrohale. This is a cigar that could be smoked regularly by a heavy smoker but not one to be savoured on an evening or special occasion. Construction: ash stayed intact for 2 inches, required 3 corrections and one relight Draw: very tight for first 1/3, medium after than

Mitchellero Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Not a nice cigar at all. Poor construction led to uneven burn. Many corrections needed. Flavour is that of cheap supermarket cigars. Loose draw means you get plenty of smoke but with no depth of flavour this isnt welcome. Put it out after 2nd third.

Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 21 December, 2022
Stick arrived as part of a sample pack. Was already unravelling and had a hole an inch down from the foot.. which looks suspiciously like a repair has been attempted. Given that this was a sample pack seems impossible cgars would miss that this is damaged. Still smokable using the band to hold the wrapper down and smoking past the hole but you wouldnt accept a corked £20 bottle of wine so why send me a damaged £20 cigar?

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single

Shocked having read other reviews. Loose draw, flavour is entirely peppery and nothing else. Smoked this a few hours after the AVO Heritage Torpedo and that is streaks ahead of this. Not for me.

Montecristo Edmundo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 18 December, 2022
Burn time circa 1hour 15 mins. Montecristo is one of my favourite Cuban blends. I decided to pick this from the humidor to celebrate a promotion at work and a job well done. This lifted the spirit on a cold dark wet winters afternoon and delivered a easy going, smooth, sophisticated slightly creamy and medium bodied smoke. It was so easy to smoke the time went by in a flash. Paired this with Bushmills 10 and was a great combination and got me in the festive spirit.
