Im new to the world of cigars (have only smoked about 10 different brands), but wow - this cigar was the first one I truly and thoroughly enjoyed.
I cant yet distinguish all the notes, but the cigar was mild and flavoursome, had perfect draw (some resistance), non-flaky ash and high quality build. Lasted about an hour, but was smoked very slowly. The fact that you can cut it in half and share it with a friend adds a whole new level to the experience.
I highly recommend this cigar for beginners who are looking for a full-flavour but not too strong cigar.
Will definately buy more soon.

Charatan Corona Cigar - 1 Single

I recently bought some of these cigars together with some Charatan Churchills. The service was really quick and the cigars arrived safely (the postman also had the sense to put the package inside a sealed plastic bag as I was not home when they were delivered and it was chucking it down). I smoked one of the Coronas the other night and it was quite simply a delightful 40 minutes. I prefer to v-cut big ring cigars and this gave an excellent draw on this cigar. While there was more than enough smoke for me it was mild enough as to be very pleasant from start to finish whereas some others cigars start well but half way through you’ve had enough when they start to become very harsh. The cigar gave a good and very even burn and held its shape for the entire time that I smoked it. Charatan cigars are one of my favourites and I will definitely be ordering more of these. Highly recommended for novice cigar smokers like me but I’d say that even more experienced smokers will find this cigar hard to fault. Order some. You won’t be disappointed both for price and quality.

Very enjoyable cigar. Great draw but did not produce a lot of smoke which I missed. Good flavours, definitely only mesium strength (which is a good thing for me).
Not sure I would buy again only down to price

Was really looking forward to try this after reading reviews but it did not really do it for me. Lovely looking and great burn but tasted of ash more than anything. Again it is just personal taste I guess. Will try the Gurkha ghost spook to see if it was just this cigar.
Great service from c gars again though, not sure I will ever go into a shop again!!!!

An excellent cigar from Honduras!
Medium to full-bodied strength.
Earthy notes with a slight nuance of dried plums and/or beetroot, smoked oakwood and Borodinsky bread.
No leather notes at all, which I personally find very pleasing!
The smoke is smooth and rich but not creamy.
The cigar burns very well, and the draw is perfect.
The flavour doesn't overstay its welcome on your palate. It gets a 10/10 from me.

Well constructed, very even draw. Smooth. Dark leathery chocolate notes. Had a 10 day break from cigars before this one so found the nicotine level to be strong. Expensive for the size but it does feel like a premium cigar.
