I purchased one of these and it was a decent little smoke but unfortunately, the wrapper cracked a bit, which made it hard to smoke. C Gars were brilliant and sent me a replacement the very next day. What great customer service.
The second one I smoked was really enjoyable. No issues with a cracked wrapper.
It was mild, with earth/tobacco flavours. It got a little spicy at the end and was a really enjoyable smoke. It lasted me just over an hour.
Fantastic value for money!

One of the smoothest rums i have ever tasted in this price range, so good this is my second bottle.

I had high hope for this cigar having followed the Foundation Cigars journey online and in the YouTube reviews. I waited and smoked two before writing a review to provide a fair judgement. Its light, very light actually and does tend to pick up strength into the final third but doesn't seem to change in flavour or complexity. All the flavours you'd expect, light and slightly sweet tobacco being the most prominent with undertones of earth (That classic Nicaraguan mineral note) and subtle leather which remain mild and consistent throughout. Construction and burn were perfectly fine with no complaints to report. I am aware there are other versions of the Charter Oak that here in the UK we cannot access, i.e Pasquale, Habano and Pegnataro - However we do have the dark broadleaf so I will be moving onto that in search for the more complex flavours. Overall this version of the Charter Oak delivers the light and mild experience you are signing up to - A good afternoon, lunchtime, morning, beginner or easy creamy coffee smoke. I'd consider buying again but im not in a rush to.

Very decent box press cigar, loads of smoke, great even burn, had to ash it a couple of times it wanted to stay on a
Lot longer, lasted me about 40 minutes, really good for the price, not much change in flavour, but a very reliable cigar, punches well above its weight, you could do much worse, please give it a try, you may enjoy it.

Not overly impressed with these . Definitely far from a masterpiece. A acceptable smoke. I would say they were pretty much identical to the Orchant Mitchelero but with a bit more pepper. I very much doubt Rocky Patel would smoke these. The Mitchelero is much better value at half the price of these.
