This is my 1st Plasencia cigar. Tasting notes for me are strong cedar, leather, slight salty earth. It gets a sweeter tones halfway through and light coffee tones. I would give it a light to medium rating for strength. I had this with Irish Powers Whisky John Lane 12 years old Edition. The Whisky overpowered this cigar.
Good points:
- Great construction and perfect burn.
- Nice big 54 gauge box pressed cigar.
Bad points:
Easy draw but not a lot of smoke compared to other box pressed cigars from Oliva, EP Carillo etc.
Not a lot of depth / change in the tasting notes as I progress through the cigar but it definitely picks up halfway through.
Not exactly to my taste but not a bad cigar. There are better tasting and more complex cigars available for the same price so I wouldn't buy another one, but I'm sure some people would love it.

A quick 5 minuter but a very pleasing aroma. One went very hot but just the one.

I won't buy this cigar again. The construction, burn and draw were brilliant, however there was something in the flavour and smell of the smoke that I couldn't stop thinking reminded me of a farmyard. It wasn't overpowering but quite distracting. I think for the price point, I'll try something else next time.

Presentation and Construction
This cigar impresses right from the start with its stylish design and attractive wrapper. The band is tastefully done, adding a touch of elegance to the overall appearance. The wrapper is smooth, with a slight sheen, and the cigar feels firm and well-constructed. It?s clear that care was taken in its craftsmanship, as there are no noticeable soft spots, and the seams are tight and nearly invisible.
First Third: Light Cedar and Aromatic Spice
Upon lighting, the cigar reveals a rich and smooth flavor profile that is immediately engaging. The initial draw offers light notes of cedar, complemented by a subtle aromatic spice that lingers on the palate. The flavor is reminiscent of an old-school Cuban cigar, perhaps something akin to a Trinidad, with a delicate sweetness that adds to its charm. The draw is decent, with just the right amount of resistance, allowing for a steady and consistent burn. The smoke is mellow, yet full-bodied enough to be satisfying.

This was a fantastic smoke with a great draw and a very good amount of smoke per puff. The flavour profile was fantastic, my first maduro and I loved it. This has very quickly become one of my favourite smokes.

Well constructed cigar that burned well all the way, which is what gets it the mark it does from me. Tried one of these as part of my flavour journey through the worlds cigars but found this to be very, very sweet. If that's your thing then this we'll rolled smoke may well be for you, but not for me.
