Mitchellero Sporty Cigar - 1 Single

Was not a fan of the original Mitchellero at all. Glad to say that the MK2 is much better. Decent flavours, slow burning and good value for money. Negatives: Not convinced this is 38 ring gauge. Also, as others have mentioned, there can be problems with peeling wrappers and wrappers coming apart after cutting (sometimes). Overall I am still happy to recommend them.

Have tried all the JLP cigars and whilst the Cazadores seems to be the best value due to its size I found the flavour to be exceptionally thin. Same with the Conservas. For quite some time now the Petit Cetros have been my favourite. They last a reasonable amount of time if sipped and have decent flavour. Shame they are so expensive now.

AVO Classic No. 2 Toro Cigar - 1 Single

Had this as part of a flash sale Avo Sampler? it caught me by surprise, as I didn?t expect it to be so good!
Lovely textured smoke, balanced flavours with a peppery hint towards the final 3rd.
Burned evenly without needing a relight, and lasted 40mins? put a smile on my face :)
Will be ordering more as a great casual smoke.

Chinchalero Perla Cigar - 1 Single

Not a bad little chug at the price. Burns smoothly with pleasant mellow notes of nuts and a hint of vanilla, a pleasant 25-30 minutes or so when you maybe haven't got the time, nor the inclination for a fuller blown experience.

It?s a nice kit and you get everything you need to start smoking a pipe. However the pipe I got is rather small as in the bowl size. It was very difficult to pack I just used a 3 pinch method however once packed it was virtually impossible to keep it lit. I was told this was due to the diameter of the bowl being so small and to get a pipe with a larger bowl. On a positive note the service received was excellent package turned up in good time.

A pleasant Cigar overall. Smoked this over the weekend and it paired well with a red wine. Overall body, construction and smoke output was great . Opening flavour notes were predominantly Earthy leathery and cedar wood. Second third spicy with amplified earthy statements and notes of pepper on the back palate. End was equally rewarding with balanced consistency of the above mentioned. This was a smooth cigar half way and a bit more noticeable on final third. Overall a Medium bodied stick that ends up towards the end full bodied in my opinion , but only towards the end of final third . I guess most cigars have that characteristic as oils concentrate heavily towards the end . That being said this stick by UK prices is value for Vitola ? less than ?25 for a big stick is about 1 hour plus of herfing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
