Zino Nicaragua Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 29 December, 2023
First impressions are of a very well made cigar. Even and smooth all over with a good cap, which I had no problem piercing with a punch, my favoured method. Cold draw presented vanilla and nuttiness, very pleasant and promising. First light produced a lovely creaminess with hints of amaretti/speculoos biscuits and was beautifully smooth. This continued until about the last third when a bit more spiciness kicked in as the tars and juices did their job. A lovely leisurely smoke of around an hour. Recommended.

Camacho Corojo Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 28 December, 2023
I tried this cigar with no expectations that I would like it, I prefer medium or mild cigars like Romeo & Julieta / Montecristo Open Masters. I like the Robusto size, it's a long smoke and usually good value for money. I thought this 'bold' cigar would be too strong, but, just finishing it off now, it doesn't blow your head off! It's full of flavour but it's very nice! I don't know enough about cigars to describe the flavour, but all I can say is that as an 'occasional', one or two a month kind of smoker, I really loved this and would have another!

Trinidad Coloniales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 28 December, 2023
Had this in the humidor for several months. Oily wrapper with perfect construction. Dry draw was sweet and when lit it did not disappoint. Lots of smoke with a good draw. Almost sweet for first and second then slightly dry with wood and floral notes. My favourite Trinidad so far.

I cannot add anything new here. Just to emphasise the overall excellence of this cigar in every way. In my humble opinion the epitome of smoking, my all-time favourite. Now, where's my wallet?

Conquistador Gordito Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 27 December, 2023
this cheap cigar is a good beginner cigar for larger smokes and i found it to be of reasonable strength without getting too much, the first third has a very basic flavoir profile slight sweetness and earthyness devoling into the second third the cigar burned uneven but i put this down to it being my first V cut the flavour develops into a nice deeo coffee flavour into the final third and as the last third develops a pepper note pairs niceley with the coffee leaving a lovely pepperyness on the lips. your left with a lovely deep coffee slight pepper and rich tobacco flavour on completion feeling relaxed with a nice nicotine buzz. i agree this is medium-light bodied and the smoke time was almost bang on 45mins and a pleasurable 45 mins at that i would advise anyone looking to step up into the larger formats to try this cigar especially if new to smoking cigars, the wrapper stayed intact and the integrity of the cigar remained for the entire smoke for the price i give this 7/10 as a newer member of the cigar community i enjoyed this very much.

Ben's Mystery Pipe Tobacco Presented in CGars Leather Pouch - 25g
Date Added: Wednesday 27 December, 2023
Top marks for Cgars, The Royal Mail however ... sending my items to Great Yarmouth instead of Stoke on Trent and arriving after Christmas was a shame but the great packaging by Shanel made sure all that extra time in the post didn't affect the quality of the product. The great little pouch that looks and feels like its going to last a long time was filled with a mystery tobacco that was subjected to what i can only describe as the Biden treatment...... I could not stop smelling it.
