Not overly impressed with these . Definitely far from a masterpiece. A acceptable smoke. I would say they were pretty much identical to the Orchant Mitchelero but with a bit more pepper. I very much doubt Rocky Patel would smoke these. The Mitchelero is much better value at half the price of these.
Beautiful cigar. Evocative aroma with perhaps some tropical fruit sweetness. The tight draw detracted from the experience a fair amount. Zero pepper or astringency. 4.5+
As the description says ?an easy going smoke? that I enjoyed a lot, mind I enjoyed a packet of three for 14.95 euros in Funchal paired with some local rum.
Nice cigar.
Even burn although it needed a few relights so don?t ignore it.
Smoked during an afternoon of fishing, with a flask of tea.
Started out mellow coffee and chocolate but got a bit mean and leathery towards the end, but overall a very pleasant and quite punchy smoke.
Sort of ?next level? cigar for the beginner.
Sat here just finishing my last bowl of the sampler I ordered and this stuff is fantastic! I tend to have a sweet tooth and though this isn't a "sweet" smoke it's certainly not overly bitter like unsweetened cocoa can certainly be. I don't even know if I'd describe it as a distinctively "chocolate" smoke - not particularly, no. Not like I expected it to be. It's just really pleasant. Not significantly aromatic either. I'm not an experienced pipe user by any means but it's definitely my favourite flake so fsr.
Absolutely hopeless. It may be a "bargain" in price, but not in use. I tried it on a variety of gauges, most of which I had to then save with a regular cutter. Don't waste even your small amount of money on this.
