Foundation The Tabernacle David Cigar - 1 Single - C.Gars Exclusive
Date Added: Sunday 06 October, 2024
Smoked one of these with a dark red wine and was blown away with both. The cigar was so enjoyable that I couldn?t tell you about the thirds, it was great from start to finish. Chocolaty, smooth, effortless draw and uncomplicated. Don?t be put off by strength either, I am new to cigars and didn?t find this stick too strong, can?t say enough about it. Buy one and try, you won?t be disappointed.

NUB Cameroon 358 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 05 October, 2024
First time trying one of these and it definitely was not a disappointment. I did not time it but it must have been at least 45 minutes. Smooth and creamy - like a malolactic wine - with hints of coffee and earthiness. It took a bit of lighting but I put that entirely down to my slightly lacklustre lighter; the thicker ring-gauge warrants a strong flame. Very happy to buy more of these.

Drew Estate Deadwood Fat Bottom Betty Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 05 October, 2024
Not one for me. Uneven burn and hard to draw until more than half way down. Loved the Crazy Alice from Drew Estates but this, apart from starting sweet with heavy chocolate notes did not appeal to me. Maybe I did not store very well and might have been better if I smoked it as soon as I got it. Some people will like it but did nothing for me.

Great cigar. Caremal flavours through the mouth with a peppery taste through the nose. Great even burn and lasted about an hour. Felt relaxed and calm throughout. Good even burn. Highly recommend.

Gurkha Cellar Reserve 12 Year Old Solara Cigar - 1 Single

In almost 25 years of smoking cigars this is the first review I've left, because this cigar is something truly special. In general I only really love certain Cubans, but have been 'working' hard to get a good knowledge of new world cigars. I've been fortunate enough to smoke a very large number of very high end new world cigars at trade show, many impeccably built, blended and presented, but to my personal taste not even close to as enjoyable as a good Cuban. I've been buying and smoking a fair few new world cigars recently to expand my horizons a bit, including this one. This is the first and so far only new world cigar I've absolutely loved. I've liked some, tolerated some, and hated more than a few. However this Gurkha stick is by far the best non-cuban I've ever smoked, and in fact one of the best cigars I've ever smoked. This cigar was simply outstanding and (to me) way better than a whole lot of Cuban cigars. Totally balanced, Nicaraguan flavour comes through without the peppery, earthy harshness often present in Nicaraguan tobacco, a s
