Mitchellero Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 25 November, 2024
Well constructed cigar. Nice cold draw. Smoked via a small punch cut. Burnt reasonably well, held the ash well. Good amount of smoke. Almost no spice on the lips. Tasted mostly of cedar, tiny amount of pepper. Very easy smoke, probably best suited for a morning cigar.

Gurkha Royal Challenge Toro Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

I am a leisurely smoker and this lovely cigar lasted me 1hr and 50 minutes. Smoothness 9/10, flavour 9/10, build quality 10/10 ash retention on this is 11/10 it holds the ash like crazy which tells me that the build quality is great. I smoked this with it being in my humidor for only a couple of weeks and will keep another for a few months and try it again. Both bands came away very very easily. The flavour I got was Smooth Tobacco, Wood, Leather and some expresso or very dark chocolate most of the way through. A new smoker would enjoy this if smoked slowly also would be suitable for the faster smoker who like a bit of added spice (nicotine). This is one to try for sure.

Plasencia Cosecha 149 La Vega Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 25 November, 2024
Flavour for days! This was the third cigar I had tried from my first CGars New World subsription. I have to say it's easily the best cigar I have ever had in the short time I have been smoking, which went to prove to me that the subscriptions are a much better way to get to know cigars you like - especially when compared to what I'd been doing previously and randomly buying packs of cigars. The 149 has a deep dark taste with a lovely earthy smell that I could still smell two days later. Nicotine levels appear low, which is how I like my cigars. I used a V-cut. Stored it at 70. I smoked it over three separate sessions! I am quite a light smoker, but when I do smoke I like it dark and flavoursome. Can't wait to try more of the Plasencias. Bravo CGars.

Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Year Old Solara Double Robusto Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 23 November, 2024
I am a slow pleasure smoker and this took me 75 minutes before it was laid to rest. Consistent flavour all the way through of tobacco, wood and nuttiness with plenty of smoke. Good even burn well after the band was removed just got a little wavy on the burn as it encroached the nub but not enough to need any help. I have another one in the humidor and will try it again over the festive season to see if there is any difference. Would I recommend this to a new smoker ? Yes if you take your time with it, but if you are a fast smoker who never puts it down then the spiciness (Nicotine) will get you.

Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 22 November, 2024
By far the best cigar I've ever had. Another classic from Davidoff This is a cigar too really take your time and enjoy it. I had mine with a bottle of XO rum, which added to the overall flavor. I actually think very good value for money The flavours really are something else and once you hit the middle part, it really comes into its own

Regius Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 22 November, 2024
Nice cold draw. Smoked via a hole punch. Lit well, but didn?t burn too well, canoed slightly and had to keep drawing hard to keep it lit, which was surprising as it didn?t feel firm to the touch. Slight spice on the lips at first, then became stronger as the smoke progressed. Unfortunately not much smoke produced. Not much taste to start with and then tasted a bit bitter as smoked down. Won?t be buying again.
