Quite a sweet and sticky start to this cigar, mainly due to the wrapper and what I thought were deep licorice notes became more licorice root and then settled into a rich woodsy flavour. A good pale ash, but couldn't sustain more than an inch before collapsing. The woody notes continued throughout the cigar to provide a satisfyingly consistent smoke. The overall dark, woody taste is well complimented by a drop, or two, of good whisky.

Im fairly new to the world of cigars but i have to say this was a beautiful smoke, super smooth and mellow.
put it this way i felt strongly enough about it that i felt i had to say something!

Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

For a fiver, this cigar is excellent. It has the construction and draw you expect from a more expensive cigar. Smoked it to the last inch, and only got a wee bit bitter at the end. The whole Inka range has been consistently good (I've also tried the azul and rojo petit corona and the azul bombaso maduro).
No disappointments so far. So if you are looking for an economical alternative without to much compromise on quality, I'd recommend the Inka range

Trinidad Coloniales Cigar - 1 Single

Just smoked my first Trinidad Coloniales, I'm a novice to cigars so you should view my review with caution!
The first two thirds of the cigar I definitely found the draw too firm, I just wasn't getting enough smoke to get a real appreciation for the flavours.
In the last third it really opened up, and I assume this was because the last third in this cigar was packed less densley.
I bought two of these, and i'll keep the other in my humidor for awhile to see if it adds anything - if i'm going from this one experience alone however, I'm going to shoot for a harsh 2/5 - I was expecting a little more.

Absolutely no complaints. Nice and solid, held together really well and a lovely, mellow taste. I will definitely be ordering these again.

Bought a pack of these recently, I like the way they wrap these in tissue paper, looks far classier than a big cellophane wrapper, I was actually surprised at how big these babies are, they have a strange smell to them when unlit, quite a sharp and sour earthy smell that strangely is quite pleasant, the cold draw is slightly woodsy and sweet, when lit, the smell engulfs you completely with this heavy barnyard aroma, they produce copius amounts of smoke and have a very easy draw, flavours are mostly mild and earthy in the first half, in the second things start to become more tangy, spicy and peppery, they last a while, so take your time with them, or you'll spoil a good smoke.
