Trinidad Coloniales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 06 March, 2009
Good construction; immediately pleasing to eyes, nose and fingers. No hassle when lighting. After first couple of draws, body and flavour become apparent; warm, full; slightly spicy, leather and coffee with a slight pepper... through hearty and cheering leather, cocoa and pepper to woody, still creamy, peppery and gentle leather flavours. I smoked this cigar with a spiced rum; it complimented the softer elements of the flavour. I've only a young palate, so I hope to enjoy this cigar in a few years time, after a little more practice. To conclude: Yes. Ever-so-slightly-cheaper than other equivalent, recommended, big-name smokes, without being inferior. Ferg

Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 25 February, 2009
I bought a 3 pack of these in malaga for 15 euros and let me say this is a king amongst smokes. This is what all habanos should work from because of the uncany resembalance to one another because i was smoking with my father and we were both smoking the monte 4s and he placed his cigar on my side of the ashtray and i didnt even notice that it was a different cigar!! next time i will order in larger quantitys because this one is a true finger burner.

Davidoff Signature 2000 Tubos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 27 January, 2009
These are a personal favourite of mine - but I find it very difficult to justify the price! If that's not an issue for you, then I heartily recommend the cigar - completely consistent quality, and a light, almost delicate flavour. However if, like me, you have to watch your cigar budget, I'd suggest trying almost any of the tubed Private Stock range (I favour the No.2). As you would expect they are not quite the same standard, but they share many of the Davidoff characteristics at less than half the price!

Chinchalero Chicos Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Wednesday 14 January, 2009
Not a bad smoke. Not fantastic either. A little light on flavour i thought. Was a little dissapointed with packaging (not CGARS) as came in nice box as shown but each cigar is plastic wrapped as well and basically over stuffed so several cigars, especially corners were crumpled and bent. Doubt I'd but these again.

Xikar Crystal Clear Jar Humidifier - Small - 2oz (End of Line)
Date Added: Wednesday 07 January, 2009
Thankfully cigar humidification is at last moving with the times and making use of the best available technology. Basically if you are one of those people who rely on distilled water to humidify your precious cigars then you should stop and think about the science of your chosen humidification method, because it is essentially flawed and you could be ruining your precious Cubans. Why? Well distilled water has no mean (average) rate of evaporation. It simply evaporates and delivers humidity to the atmosphere at an erratic rate. Propylene Glycol (PG) however, maintains a constant relative humidity of 70% - which is about what your cigars should be kept at. And it does this in an easy, convenient and functional manner. In this case, simply unscrew the top and place the jar in your humidor, job done! When the PG evaporates and the crystals (which carry the solution) shrink, just add more PG solution, it's that simple. I have a Xikar 100 count humidor (EXCELLENT item) and so I personally use this in conjunction with the PG based humidifier located in the lid. This ensures I maintain a con
