A very common question answered, Do I remove my box of 25 tubed cigars from their tubes before putting them in my humidor, the answer is YES, so what's the reasoning behind this definite answer, Tobacco is an Hygroscopic material which has the ability to absorb or release moisture depending on it's local environment if the environment is humid the cigar will absorb moisture until it equalizes with the environment if the environment is dry the cigar will release moisture, so that's the science lesson finished, the next variable is quality control in an ideal world all tubed cigars would contain the ideal moisture level and the sealed tube would maintain this but we don't live in an ideal world so you have the possibility of tubed cigars even out of the same box being under humidified, ideal or over humidified, so basically you take pot luck as to the condition of your tubed cigars, so what do i do to get consistency, put the untubed cigars in a correctly set up humidor around 68 RH and around 18c temperature, from the science lesson the under humidified cigars will take on moisture an

Montecristo Open Regata Cigar - 1 Single by stuart

I was dissapointed with this montecristo. Did not feel like i was smoking a cuban cigar, espsecially not a monte but more of a cheap cigar behind the counter in a corner shop. Very sad and will not be smoking this again.feel free to try though.

Chinchalero Chicos Cigar - Box of 25 by Ronald

Bought one of these Chicos and a La Invicta Panatella with the idea that, having smoked them both i would then decide which bundle of 25 to purchase. I went for the Chicos as i found the La Invicta a little harsh, and although slightly more expensive i thought it 'smoked' cheaper. The Chico and La Invicta both smoked for app 45 minutes, ash held slightly better on the Chico. If you want a 45 minute break from the world go for the Chicos. Ron B, Doncaster

Cohiba Coronas Especiales Cigar - 1 Single by Alistair

Castro's favourite and I can see why. Although the draw feels tight the burn is even and its light yet creamy smoke plentiful enough for you to get over this. As far as flavour goes, this cigar exibits the typical Cohiba spice but with a much sweeter chocolate note than in any other Cohiba I've tried. Earthy coffee flavours become prominent after the first 1/3 (following the chocolate 'topping' its like the cappucinno of cigars!). I'd love to be able to say that this is a perfect every day smoke, however at £16 a stick, I'm not that flush... still, this will go down as a firm favourite (hopefully the one I've left in the humidor will be even better).

Prestige Chateau Humidor - Burl - 20 Cigar Capacity by Rupert

This is my first humidor, so I don't speak from experience! I am, however, meticulous in my research and spent a lot of time looking at various comments on various humidors to see what was right for me, and this came out on top. I don't smoke a huge amount. Maybe 1 or two a month (if that), but obviously cigars don't take this into account - so I get myself a humidor after a particularly generous friend gave me several nice Cubans for my birthday. The first thing that drew me to this was the burl. I love burls and this is a really nice one. It's darker than in the picture (a good thing) but has the same textured look and is very attractive. It has a nice felt bottom and sits on my desk rather nicely. I was a little concerned about the analogue hygrometer (I've heard they're less reliable) so upgraded to the digital, which seems to be good. I was also a little worried that the humidifier hung down too far (it looks like that in the picture) but rest assured it doesn't. There's a good amount of space in there and the lay-out is nice. Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single by Peter

I agree the Minutos arn\'t very pleasant but the Cristales are a cheap starter Cuban cigar very mild and tasty never harsh or bitter and even burning ideal to practice cigar lighting and cutting even though these are also machine made and already cut, these are a very relaxing cigar for a good hour of smoking. When you are ready to move on to better things i highly recommend PUNCH cigars they are very high quality, well built, lovely taste which is not overpowering and a very pleasant cigar aroma, Hand Rolled in various sizes and prices, the cedar lined tubed Petit Coronations 4 5/8\" x 40 rg right up to THE ORIGINAL CHURCHILL size from c.gars.
