A refreshing natural smoking experience with pleasing aromas of lemon and honey, medium bodied yet providing a smooth and gentle smoke. Easy to burn and is enjoyable to smoke throughout the day. I would recommend for all pipe smokers, even for the novice to try! Michael - C.Gars Ltd

Medium in strength, providing a medium to full bodied taste profile. Expect a traditional classic English blend. Although the flavour and aroma isn't intense compared to other similar English mixtures, it's more gentle which I personally enjoy as it isn't too overwhelming. I love this for a nice, easy going smoke. They aren't overly complex, but the flavours are subtle but satisfying. It remains sweet and creamy throughout the 20 or so mins it takes to smoke, with mild coffee and cocoa notes, an ideal morning cigar. I've also found the packs of 5 very useful for taking to weddings and other events where non smokers may be tempted by a cigar: Mild enough to be suitable for non smokers but not so mild that regular smokers would find them bland. Good construction nice and light brown wrapper.
Smells earthy with coffee hints in the back.
On the fire up I got a
great draw with a medium body. creamy taste on the retrohale which lingers on the palate for a while. It almost reminds me of clarified butter
My sample burned fairly even. There was one point where I touched it up but it got back to business right away with no fuss.
I really enjoyed this cigar. It lasted around 35 mins or so. Fairly consistent with its taste and performance all the way with only a slight increase in earthy tones towards the end.
Overall a good little cigar. Slightly on the expensive side, but worth trying the once. I'm definitely going try the others in the H Upmann range.

Partagas Shorts Cigar - 1 Single

Another regular favourite of mine! For such a small cigar it is absolutely packed with flavour from the very beginning. There isn't as much flavour development as you would find in a longer cigar, but it remains consistently tasty with the classically earthy, rich and sweet Partagas flavour throughout. They can occasionally have a slightly firm draw, but nothing that would impede your enjoyment in any major way. The main reason I always return to these is the amount of flavour (and satisfaction!) they can deliver in roughly 20 mins.. I've spent hours smoking Churchill/Double Corona sized cigars that don't have half the flavour of one of these bad boys!
