For the price I doubt you can get better than this. It was a nice smoke good burn although it did need relighting once. The flavours were balanced and enjoyable.

What a fantastic smoke, a true one of a kind stick. The chisel shape offers a completely new dynamic as opposed to the usual suspects - partnered with the superb spicy taste and full body I will definitely be purchasing more. I would recommend to anyone.

Padron 2000 Robusto Maduro Cigar - Box of 26
by Michael
If I have a "go to" cigar this is the one.I can’t speak highly enough of it.Rustic looking and not the prettiest thing you'll ever see,for sure, but that's an irrelavancy here.Always expertly constructed and always very, very flavourful. As has already been said,it does have a very loose draw so you must baby it somewhat but you're well rewarded.
Spicy pepper in the opening which settles in to chocolate, coffee,an occasional note of things like cinnamon and even a caramel creaminess in there sometimes. The absolute definition of a satisfying smoke that you can just kick back with and relax after a hard day’s work and the one cigar that I make sure to never run low on.
It'll be something that the Cuban "snobs" would have me up for as a heretic but,to my tastes at least,Nicaraguan tobacco and the best of their cigars (the puros) has caught up to a lot of what's coming out of Cuba just now and in some cases even surpassed it!!
The range of QC amongst Cuban cigars is still far too large. You really do need to have a good relationship with a quality merchant or you risk getting a box

Quintero Favoritos Cigar - 1 Single
by Chris
These have got to be among the tastiest cigars I've tried, and I've sampled quite a few different brands lately. Burn and construction are not exactly of Premier League standards but the nice easy draw and flavour more than make up for it. A competitively priced Cuban alternative to Oliva and NUB.
Quintero, why pay more?

Boveda Metal Holder - Holds 1 Pack
by Robert
Very smart looking item. Fits nicely in the lid of my 30-capacity humidor. I've noticed that boveda packets produce a slightly lower RH when sitting in this than when simply placed in among the cigars. A 69% packets gives me 66% when sitting on the cigars and about 63% from within this holder.
It comes with two fitting methods: Velcro and magnet. The Velcro is so strong it pulled away the piece attached to the lid, bringing some wood with it. I recommend fitting it with the magnet.

An excellent cigar. Plenty of power but I would suggest accessible to all but the faintest heart. My last one had an erratic burn which was hopefully a one off but it didn't spoil the enjoyment of this top quality cigar. I pick up something vaguely perfumy but in a good tobacco way. I would buy a box for the humidor. Recommended!
