Cohiba Siglo VI Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 February, 2016
I really wanted this cigar to be awesome, my expectations were high on the back of many reviews. Cut a long story short, this individual was quite one dimensional... Grassy! It was by no means unpleasant but more of a marquis than a Prince. Tales of startling twists and turns throughout the journey turned out to be more of a trot down a Roman road. The burn of the last third was uneven which was surprising for one with such pedigree.Perhaps mine wasn't typical of this famed cigar, I have 2 more in the humidor and will try them soon.

Montecristo No. 5 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 01 February, 2016
Decent 35-40 mins smoke. Consistent and most of the time even burn. However I found it too strong for my taste. Leathery and spicy, tasted a bit like dark chocolate paired with a tawny port. Unfortunately the draw was tight, especially the last inch or so. Because of that became a bit hot and harsh. I will not buy again as I prefer milder cigars but if go past the tight draw it makes a good smoke.

Romeo y Julieta No. 2 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

my first RyJ. was quite pleased with this one. Light at the beginning, constant burn, becomes more spicy towards the end but nothing too strong. Perfect for a beginner like me. I've already bought more

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 3 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 29 January, 2016
This was my first Arturo Fuente cigar and I must say it was fantastic! The draw is a bit tight but nothing unexpected. The construction was solid and ash held for about an inch and a half. The burn was also consistent through about 2/3 of the cigar with a bit of relighting needed. The cigar lasted me about 1 hour and 20 minutes. In terms of flavor I found the smoke very smooth and creamy with hints of chocolate, vanilla and of roasted Barley. Towards the last 1/3 the taste developed into something much more rich and deep. As a novice myself I was surprised by the overall strength but was not overwhelmed as it came gradually and consistently. Would recommend to anyone looking to develop their palate. 5/5 Because I enjoyed the experience and quality.
