As a lover of partagas cigars particularly the petit coronas especial,I decided it was time to revisit the sd4 which I always respect as it is big in flavour and nicotine,however I feel that these cigars are starting to suffer the same fate as the Monte no2 and no4,they are so inconsistent these days. Its true that you will still get a real good one most of the time but the bad ones taste cheap,the demand for these is definitely affecting the quality

Quite a good smoke but made my head spin (hence the 2 ) . Prefer R & J Cedros de luxe No 3

A nice size, good hours smoke and once lit it burned nice and evenly all the way until the end. As the tasting notes say, it is a full bodied smoke but without being aggressive. Cant go wrong with this one!

What a pleasant smoke this cigar is, it's the first Nicaraguan cigar I have tried and no regrets. As a returning cigar smoker I was a bit sceptical about this but I found it to be a very mild smoke, just what I was looking for. Anyone new to the world of cigars this is one for you.

Reviews are personal and I know this cigar generally gets good reviews but I was not that impressed. Don't know if I got a bad one or not but didn't really enjoy it. Construction was not great, wrapper had started to peel a bit. Cut was not clean and again wrapper started to peel a little. Taste, it was ok - the first 1/3 was enjoyable but I found it a bit harsh beyond half way. Not great, but not not bad. I will probably get another just to try and see if its better second time round.
