Davidoff Primeros Dominican Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 03 November, 2016
The Primo Maduro had a nice deep aroma pre-light with a nice sheen to the wrapper. Excellent light and superb even burn throughout, and a lovely white ash that held well. The first 2 thirds stayed mainly the same with a nice cut grass flavour accompanied with a hint of sweetness. The final third had a surprising peppery spicy kick to finish. Smoking time for a small cigar was a decent 40 mins. An excellent way to relax at the end of a hard day.

Signature (Formally Cafe Creme) Blue Cigar - Tin of 10
Date Added: Wednesday 02 November, 2016
I smoke these on a regular basis and have noticed that recently they go out more easily than previously. I'm surmising that the manufacturer is using less tobacco. In other words it's inflationary. Has anybody else noticed this? As a caveat I'm not blaming CGARS as I normally buy them from a well known supermarket.

La Aurora Principe Chicos Brown Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Wednesday 02 November, 2016
Very good smoke had quite a few packs of these good construction, with only one or two out of a few packs being slightly tight, due to a narrowing at the tip! But if roll it in your fingers it pulls though nicely, pretty good for machine made lovely chocolate taste that's not to sweet for the seasoned smoker lasts right down to the nub! Am smoking one now yum.

Montecristo Open J Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 30 October, 2016
I don't have much to compare this to, but it was a very enjoyable smoke; lasting around 40-50 minutes. Fairly mild smooth smoke, not sure I could pick up much in the way of distinct flavours, except maybe some almonds (marzipan) about 2/3's in but that faded quite quickly and was replaced with straight tobacco taste.

Por Larranaga Petit Coronas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 29 October, 2016
Quite a subtle sheen to the wrapper and smelt fairly light and sweet pre-light. Having read the description on CGars I was surprised that the initial few puffs were reasonably strong and leathery, however after smoking for just a few minutes this strength gave way to a very sweet, honey, caramel flavour which was a lovely surprise. The sweetness lasted down into the final third, where the strong leathery flavour then re-appeared. There was a slightly uneven burn in the first third which sorted itself out by the second third. White and streaky grey 'toothy'ash which seemed to hold better as the cigar evolved. Burn time of around 40 mins. My first Por Larranaga but I would definitely give this brand another try in future.

Romeo y Julieta Cedros de Luxe No. 3 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 27 October, 2016
A light sheen to the wrapper and quite a light smell before lighting. The first third was a nice steady cocoa/deep coffee. The second third had hints of marzipan. The final third had elements of spice and a hint of pepper. The ash held for about an inch and was battleship grey with streaks of white. A decent 30-40 mins smoke and good value for a fair sized Cuban.
