H. Upmann Connoisseur No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 01 January, 2025
A really nice way to spend 70 minutes smoking this cigar on new years morning. Very well built, smooth smoke all the way until I burnt my fingers lol. Just wish all cigars were built like this. Top 5 for me for sure.

Bolivar Belicosos Finos Cigar - Cabinet Selection - 1 Single

A well built medium + strength Cuban cigar with an earthy profile with a touch of spice. The only thing that spoilt this cigar was the uneven burn for the fist two thirds but still produce a good amount of smoke. It was an 80 minute smoke time for me fairly nice just got a bit spongy towards the end.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 31 December, 2024
As expected from Davidoff, the construction was excellent and the draw pretty good - I guillotine cut this and it took me c35-40 minutes to smoke it at a very leisurely pace. It held the ash well, departing after about an inch accumulated on the foot. Although the construction, draw and overall aesthetic of the cigar was good, the taste aspect let it down. No real flavour notes to mention, just a reasonably pleasant medium strength tobacco flavour. I've had much more satisfying and complex cigars at this price point so this was disappointing, especially as Davidoff is one of my favourite brands.

Punch Punch Cigar - 1 Single

This Cuban cigar I would say is more mild than medium and it took me 50 minutes overall to smoke to the band but that's when things turned for the worse. As soon as I removed the band the wrapper came off straightaway. Up until then was a lovely typical Cuban smoke. Have a couple in my humidor and will leave them for a while and hope that this was a one off.

H. Upmann Regalia Cigar - 1 Single

It was a bit of a tight draw but a really smooth smoke with just a small amount of spice. It took me 70 minutes to smoke this all the way to the nub with no issues at all. Its an anytime of day smoke for anyone. Will keep a few in my humidor for sure.

Ramon Allones Allones No. 3 Cigar - 1 Single

Oh dear what a shame about the build quality. Used a straight cut but after toasting the foot it was nearly impossible to puff so had to touch up so many times it ruined the lovely flavour that it had. I had to use my perfect draw tool more times on this cigar for the first two thirds that I nearly gave up. It was only in the last third did it remotely puff like a cigar should. The flavour what I did manage to get was wonderful in the last inch and a half but all the messing around ruined it. I just hope this was a one off.
