Oliva Serie V Melanio Gran Reserva No. 4 Petit Corona Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Friday 06 May, 2016
I am sad that the last reviewer had a bad one, I have smoked 3 of these and I will be getting more, as the one thing that DO have is bags of flavour .also a good burn, lots of smoke that tastes so good I don't want to blow it away. I you love a full flavoured Cuban , as I do, its nice to mix up the humidor a bit with some good new world sticks as well, so I say go on treat yourself.....

Trinidad Coloniales Cigar - Cabinet of 24
Date Added: Friday 06 May, 2016
I had bought a box of these for my colleagues to introduce them to the taste of proper tobacco. While I certainly do not count as a connosieur, or even an informed cigar afficionado, I can definitely say that this is a great smoke to introduce your fellows to cigar smoking. The taste is lighter than Cohibas, and the smoke lasts a convenient, medium time, 30-45 minutes - just enough for a good conversation starter. If you prefer lighter, mellower tasting cigars I wholeheartedly recommend the Coloniales. (For context, dear fellow addict, my other preferred ones are the Behike 56, the Montechristo No.2, the now gone Trinidad Robusto, and lately the Romeo & Julieta Piramides Anehados.)

Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single

Very surprised by this as it was inexpensive and came in uninspiring brown packaging, regardless this was a very smooth and enjoyable smoke. Last me about an hour and kept its taste to the end. Very happy with it.

Oliva Serie V Melanio Gran Reserva No. 4 Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single

I'd had one of these in my humidor for about 6 months and decided to try it a few days ago. What a disappointment! Previous encounters with Oliva cigars had always been favourable but not this time. It burnt well and construction was good but they're the only things that this cigar had in it's favour. The first third was very harsh and left an unpleasant aftertaste and the rest was very bland. At times it seemed as if I were just inhaling steam. If you are considering spending your hard - earned cash on a petit corona give this one a miss. There are plenty of Cubans around costing less.

Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill Cigar - 1 Single

First impression;this is a very pretty cigar, the wrapper was smooth and flawless. The first inch was pleasant but extremely mild. From there on in the cigar delivered a more complex mix of flavours which intensified very gradually as the smoke went on. Burn was a little erratic but this didn't bother me as this is an immensly enjoyable cigar in a very mellow kind of way. Be prepared to burn your fingers, the flavours keep coming but never ever get close to being harsh. This is a real find. It's a mild cigar with hardly any pepperiness. Boy is it enjoyable. This one really put a smile on my face. I give it 6 stars. You would be crazy not to try one.

Chinchalero Novillo Fuerte Maduro - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 23 April, 2016
Tried one of these for the first time today and I wasn't disappointed. A wonderful post-lunch smoke. The draw was near perfect, medium flavour, mild hints of chocolate and slightly spicier for the last third. As I'm used to smoking full and very full-flavoured Cuban cigars, it was definitely medium, although the maduro wrapper might make you think it was full flavoured. Well now that I've tried one, I can't wait to order a whole bunch more.
