I've had several of these in the humidor, but I've been increasingly concerned about one that was developing a split from the foot end so I decided to smoke it yesterday before it disintegrated entirely. I always use a punch rather than a cutter, and the cap survived being punched well, although the base of the cigar did unravel slowly as I smoked it.
In terms of flavour, this was as good as always, and given the problem with the split the burn was fairly steady most of the way down. However, by the time I reached the band the base of the cigar was also unravelling quickly and it was becoming increasingly difficult to get any sort of draw without putting half the cigar into my mouth. I eventually gave up with about one third left as it was becoming impossible to smoke.
This is the first of these that I've had any sort of quality issue with, and although I'm keeping an eye on the last couple I have in the humidor they are looking fine. Hopefully this was just a one off, and on this basis I'm going with four stars.

I agree with everything all the other reviews have said about this cigar for the price it is an absolute steal. I got it in the budget small cuban sampler which also includes some big names but this stood out and I will be buying more of these to fill up the humidor.

Not bad for £5. 30-40 min smoke. would buy it again.

Punch Punch Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

I have been smoking for many years and have tried all the usual cigars, for once the description doesn't do it justice...
I enjoyed my Punch cigar in the lovely setting of the Churchill Cigar Lounge on the Cunard ship 'Victoria' and oh what a joy!!! One of the best cigars I have ever smoked. It lit easily, the draw was effortless, it burnt evenly and never went out even after being left for several minutes while I was ordering yet more drinks. There was no bitterness or aftertaste.. For me a great cigar and I will be ordering a box next time not just one...

I tried one of these not expecting much for a £9.49 cigar of its size. I didn't get much either. The wrapper was a bit flakey at one end but not enough to ruin anything. It drew well and the ash stacked up very well. Initially it was peppery with a floral, almost herbal edge which soon gave way to a woody leathery taste which got stronger towards the end. It lasted me just under an hour and a half. Overall, it was kinda mild. Not a bad smoke for the price but I won't get another. I'd rather pay an extra quid or two and get a smaller, better quality cigar.
While this wasn't an unpleasant smoke, it wasn't a particularly good one either, so I'm giving it 3/5. Try one if you like big cigars at low prices but if flavour is your thing, I wouldn't bother with this one. YMMV!

What a fantastic cigar - especially for such a low price tag!
Upon cutting it and testing the airflow I thought it may be heavy on the draw but that has not been the case when lit. Thick satisfying smoke and a rich strong flavour. It's quite reminiscent of the La Flor Dominicana in flavour and a very steady burn. So far I am 40 minutes in with a cup of tea and it's been a real pleasure.
Great service as well - I will return to this one again.
