Chinchalero Esportivo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 19 April, 2018
Purchased in spring of 2016 as part of a fact-finding-mission in preparation for my wedding in September of the same year. Six-month reconnaissance took my senses from Cuba and the New World to Europe, Sumatra and beyond. Starting my expedition with this Chinchalero Esportivo, with its smooth tasting blend of new world fillers - wasnt too imposing. Beneath the cocoon of cellophane, the small creases and imperfections in the wrapper assured me that it was truly hand-rolled. The thirty-eight ring gauge felt a little slim in the hand (my hands anyway) but led to a concentrated taste when throughout the petit-corona sized, five-inch length. Good flavour, not spicy but creamy and warm. Smoke for around 30 minutes with a pale ale on a spring afternoon in the garden, a much needed rest after walking the dog and cutting the grass. The Chinchalero Esporivo established a good baseline for me on my adventure, and I would revisit the pleasure of the smoke in my head before lighting up future cigars I considered to be comparable. JANUARY SALE - Drew Estate Acid Kuba Kuba Cigar - 1 Single

What a wonderful cigar. Sweet and smooth to start then becomes more of a medium body cigar with sweet notes through out. Perfect for starters or great for dessert. Enjoying that much I had to write this review before I finish it. Will be buying many more in the near future.

Leon Jimenes by La Aurora Petit Corona Caribbean (Rum) Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 16 April, 2018
Week constructed, so cut cleanly with chocolate and cedar on the nose and a good open draw. The initial smoke is creamy and light with a hint of coffee; coupled with the sweet Connecticut wrapper was reminiscent of a caramel latte. This prompted me to prepare an espresso to enjoy with my smoke. I really enjoyed the second third as a little black pepper spice kicked in, but the smoke reamined creamy and light and the sweetness changed to a sugar cane like sweetness, which took me back to a recent Jamaican holiday. Final third the spice tries to raise its game, along with woody notes but the sweet creamy balance continues to shine through. Burned neatly enough with cool smoke throughout. One to enjoy in the morning sun with a coffee.

Montecristo Open Regata Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

Been looking forward to this one, surprisingly mild and sweet on the tongue unfortunately the leaf started to crack and it ended up looking like it exploded like a firecracker which ruined the smoke. Dont know if it had anything to do with the bluey green spots which i was assured by the Cgars staff were natural. Dont think Id spend the money on this again unfortunately.

Well.....this cigar has been rolled by the hands of the devil himself and belongs to reside in the flames of hell for all eternity. Absolutely rank, acrid, bitter and was absolutely vile. This is the second one I have tried both from sampler packs. Seriously Cgars need to stop selling these, they are foul and smell like very large cigarettes. After the first draw the amalgam fillings in my teeth even tasted of iron, they are a special type of evil...lol! Never again!
