Henri Wintermans Tubed Coronas Deluxe Sumatra Cigar - 1 Single by Chris

Easy light, even burn and nice draw. Thats it. Cheap looking nasty wrapper with tonnes of veins and knots in it. Its a cheap smoke for a reason. After one third it tasted like a damp ashtray. Full of tarry flavours and absolutely zero subtlety. I didnt get much further down it because simply put it was horrible. After I put it out I opened it up out of curiosity and I wasnt shocked. Yes its short fill tobacco but thats no excuse for it to look like left over leaves after an autumn sweep up. Considering the other smokes available for a few quid more there really isnt any other reason to buy this other than you cant get to a decent tobacconist or wait on delivery. Save your money ladies and gents as youd be better off wrapping guinea pig bedding in your fiver and smoking that than buying this monstrosity! Chris

Montecristo Club Cigarillos - Pack of 10 by Edward

I suppose I tend to compare everything with Cohiba, but I didnt take to these, in fact I didnt get through half the packet. Theres an underlying promise of Havana but quickly swamped under a harsh sharpness. To be fair theyre cheaper than Cohiba, but not cheap enough for the difference. Taking into consideration that I might be biased, Im giving them three, but my inclination is more toward two.

Colibri V-Cut Cigar Cutter - Red by rhys

I have had problems getting a straight cut with a guillotine cutter in the past and occasionally messing up by burn. I read about wedge cutters online and heard they were popular for accuracy and a good draw. I have to agree, this thing is a game changer. Havent had an uneven burn since i got it. Ive used it on a good few different brands and sizes too and been excellent every time. Highly recommend!

Quorum Maduro Churchill Cigar - 1 Single by Tom

I found this a fairly unremarkable smoke, it is by no means a bad cigar but for the price you can do better. fairy mild but it gets better in the last third. I found it was much better as a straight cut rather than a punch as the draw is fairly tight. It is not one I would by again, however if someone offered me one I would smoke it quite happily. Probably a good first time maduro.

Earthy Dutch cocoa and French roasted coffee from start to finish. Not quite what I was expecting given the acclaim but a very solid choice to be paired with a good port after a big meal
