Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Double Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 24 June, 2018
Firstly can I say I am relatively new to cigars and as such have been trying various brands, types etc. On looking at reviews I decided to try the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 and the double robusto, having tried both I can safely say the double robusto was an amazing smoke right from the outset. It lit very easily the burn was crisp and very even oodles of smoke and lots of taste. First third was cedar and leather with a subtle hint of sweetness this maintained right through until the last third when it became a tad stronger and slightly more woody but very pleasantly so. I just did not want this cigar to finish, draw was excellent, nice burn time, I managed 1hour 15mins of pure heaven accompanied by a very nice shiraz....I love robusto size cigars and this will definitely feature highly on my purchase list when filling my humidor.....try it...you wont regret it.

A.J. Fernandez Last Call Geniales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 20 June, 2018
Purchased on a recommendation from Evan at the Liverpool store. Initial look and smell ok. Once lit the burn was very even and draw was good. However this was just not for me. I found it to be a very rough smoke. Not well balanced at all. A little surprised this was recommended along with a Montecristo No5 as they are incomparable. In my opinion there are better Cubans out there for the same money.

I smoked this cigar at a recent event I attended at the Puffin Rooms in Liverpool and have to say it was a lovely smoke. so much so I ended up smoking another and then another! Light and airy, it was very pleasant without any harshness and just a really enjoyable smoke. Highly recommended. Laura (Norfolk)

A very nice cigar, it changes flavours with the smoking time. Creamy, chocolate taste at first, it gets spicier halfway through the burn. Quite smooth at first. Even burn, beautiful flavours.

Oliva Serie V Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 17 June, 2018
For a relatively inexperienced cigar smoker this beautiful offering from Oliva is hard to fault. It is a striking looking cigar, dark and rich, with that fabulous oversized band. Toasts and lights with ease. The draw is absolutely perfect and the flavours are deep and complex. Mine started off fairly mild but ramped up in strength and depth of flavour in the second third. Construction was excellent, holding ash until the band with ease (and then it only dropped because of my own lack of care). The rest held until I was in danger of charring my finger tips, trying to enjoy every millimetre. The burn line was a little uneven, but never enough to need correcting. I am not qualified to give taste notes, but for me there was leather and chocolate with little hint of spice (which increased in the final third). Zero bitterness and very little pepper. Smooth, rich and creamy, with a delicate sweetness on the inhale. I just wish it had a slower burn in order that I could have enjoy it for longer. Chosen as an indulgent Fathers Day treat, enjoyed after a roast beef dinner, outside with a rum

Chinchalero Torcidos Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Nice cigar, looks great. Mild sweet and spicy flavour with an earthy undertone. Took me some time to smoke. Only problem is that it went out a couple of times but other than that is perfect
