I’m happy to admit that I’m not normally one to smoke anything apart from Cubans. That’s mainly because every non Cuban Has without question been pretty terrible. Even with my pallet developing and some ageing they all burn harsh and taste pretty terrible. This one however bucks that trend. The gauge probably helps but it’s a smooth sweet, creamy chocolate and vanilla from start to finish. Great cigar.

Having always been a fan of the Half Corona, perfect for the sneaky quick herf, often opting for the many circa £9 to £10 Half Coronas available.
When these were added to the Regius range I was more than surprised. Excellent build and burn with just enough spice to please. Lets not forget
these little stixs are less than a fiver.... Would recommend anyone just to try them for what they are.. A good value well built stick, even better kept in the
Humi for a while to open up. Good job I say..

I really enjoyed this cigar. I got spice on the lips on the cold draw, followed by a savoury, earthy, dry grass flavour once lit. Very pleasant on a warm evening. I certainly didnt get any sweetness but this didnt bother me. Would go great with a dry G&T. Draw was on the tight side and the burn was excellent all the way through. The finish Was when the peppery flavours came through more clearly. I will be buying them again.

wow! a very pleasant smoke. No tight draw and nice even burn. Well worth trying. If you dont dry this cigar- you are missing out on this little beauty.
Would buy this cigar again.

When you read in the description of a tobacco "perfect for blending with flavoured tobaccos" you know it's not going to have much of its own. I occasionally substitute this for my favourite straight Virginia, Royal Yacht, just for a change. It is an ok tobacco, mild, cool smoking and definitely benefits from a few drops of Bourbon to tweak what little flavour it has.
Since it is sold loose and because the quality does seem to vary somewhat it is fair to say that when fresh it merits four stars. Alas, this month's delivery was a bit dry and at best deserves no more than three.

A nice good quality short smoke, far better value than others of the same size.
