Nice looking stick, big fat band construction was faultless burned slow and even very rich heavy smoke which was a bit much for me personally. I can see why people would love this cigar well worth the price but not my thing. Kind of regretting not choosing the Nub maduro or Hoyo epicure 2 that were sitting either side of it tonight, give it a try though it might be a show stopper for you.

Sadly not a great smoke. I had high expectations for this one, the band looks great, wrapper nice and oily, well constructed. However the draw was just awful. The burn was great, very even, but it was like sucking through a straw from start to finish. 40-50 minute smoke. Flavours were enjoyable with lots of smoke, coffee, nuts, moss, caramel, however I wonÂ’t be buying this one again as the draw was just nonexistent. Great service from CGars, though :)

When I first started pipe smoking Ithought I would try the basic tobaccos used in most mixtures to find what they were like individually and in combination... in fact it was such good fun I might do it again... maybe. My impression of Burley at that time was that it was good as a filler but a little non-descript on its own.
So it took some time for me to try a pure Burley tobacco. This blend of three different Burleys is very good - much better than I expected. Malty, nutty and smooth with no detectable topping, its rich natural flavour is ideal for any time of day. Although my preference is for stronger more complex blends I can see this becoming a regular in future orders.

Not one of my favourites. I didnt find it to be soft and smooth like other cigars I have preferred, and I found it a little strong in terms of flavour. Burnt well but not one I would buy again.

An hour of smooth, mellow bliss! In my opinion, for the price, this is pretty unbeatable. Handmade, long filler, quality embossed band that vaguely resembles Bolivar’s, excellent construction, burn and draw (and it measures 5 1/2 in length, not 5” as listed by CGars, so that was a nice surprise!) This was my first non-Cuban smoke and I’m thoroughly impressed, had lots of earthy, nutty flavours with a spicy, wood finish. Flavours ignite early on and develop nicely throughout, I will definitely be buying more of these! Second order from CGars which included free mints and a pen! Thanks a million, CGars :)

Nikka from the Barrel - 50cl 51.4%

A very interesting whisky from one of the best New-World whisky brands. Its strong, but not "blow your head off" strong, I certainly wouldnt guess over 50%! Primarily sweet, fruity and floral flavours, with a long salted caramel finish with a touch of vanilla. A drop of water will open this right up to something truly magnificent. Dont tell anyone the price though, as theyll be sure you paid over double!
