Vasco Da Gama Scottish (Malt) Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 18 March, 2021
Much the same as most of the above reviews, I found this to be a poor excuse for a cigar. It came out of the wrapper totally dried out and crumbling which made it impossible to smoke. It has no aroma of whiskey whatsoever and seems to be totally overpriced and overrated. I have contacted CGars regarding this and have yet to hear from them. Very bad first buy experience. I have only given a 1 point rating because the form doesnt allow you to proceed without any.

Villiger Export Pressed Maduro Cigar - Pack of 5 (5 cigars)
Date Added: Tuesday 09 February, 2021
First third was very bland, none of the tastes that other reviewers have mentioned. Picked up a little 2/3 in. Very harsh on the tongue 3/3. Burn was even but very fast, ash fell off unexpectedly soon into my lap. Very light draw. Lots of bits of tobacco in my mouth. Might benefit from more humidity, the one I tried was straight out the box. Smoked it with a fairly strong Japanese whiskey, that may have been its downfall as the flavours may have been overpowered. Not a real fan of the square shape in my mouth. For the price they are a chunky little smoke and are easily accessable at supermarkets (got mine from Asda). Fairly bland but not totally unpleasant. 2.5/5.

Bought these on a whim and I'm glad I did,Lovely smooth wrapper and it comes pre wedge cut, either end look a little bit rough but it smokes very well, even burn all the way and leaves a creamy white pepper taste on the tongue.

Very mellow. Nice draw. Tasty little cigar, especially for the price. Will definitely be ordering again.

In a word, disgusting......I had to light up my pipe afterwards just to take the taste out of my mouth. Construction was acceptable, but poorly and very loosely packed filler and very spongy, which of course let to a poor burn. The tobacco its self tasted very green with little to development and the alleged whisky flavouring was not existent, just a sort of green sickly taste. Would make a good joke gift in a posh Christmas cracker

Im not an expert but it has its own flavour, its not the usual bland tobacco flavour. Its medium strength and it doesnt have that spicy sweet taste its more on the peppery side which some people might prefer but its not bitter. Even burn and easy drawn, for my taste they could be a bit tighter, Im a wet smoker and sometimes I found bits in my mouth, its not flacky at all just a bit looser. I actually like the shape, its easy to hold and smoke and IMO looks stylish but I would like a bit tighter. Its definitely a good daily smoke especially when you dont have much time or you want smoke on a budget but still having something that taste good. I still prefer Montecristo Puritos when Im around, I think the Montecristo taste more like a real Habano than this and I prefer the construction. Of course taste is personal and if youre much more into earthy, peppery flavours this is your choice. Even if I prefer the Montecristo I still keep one when Im looking for that flavour on the road.
