Vegas Robaina Famosos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 27 August, 2019
This had great potential looked great from the outside, cut cleanly but a prelighting drawn immediately warned me how tight the cigar was. I can not say that I again disappointed at the quality control of Cuban cigars over those from the New World. I prefer Cubans but they are hit and miss and at the current prices that it is fair risk. When I did achieve a decent mouthful of smoke this cigar was great but so hard to smoke. Cuba needs to raise its game and become more consistent, the products are great BUT expensive and when you spend this sort of money perfection is not an unreasonable expectation, especially from an EMS cigar. Hunters & Frankau take note. I bought two Ramon Allones Specially Selected in St Tropez and they were excellent which begs the question as to whether the UK gets the best anymore.

Vegueros Mananitas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 24 March, 2019
I’ve had a few of these sat around for around 5-6 months, so I decided to smoke one! Nice even burn upon lighting. First tasting notes (Pepper, Strong Coffee, rich intense cream) I paired this cigar with some Lindt Milk Chocolate after dinner along with a coffee. Half way through, consistent taste, stronger peppery notes coming through, less coffee, maintaining a creamy finish. Towards the end, Earthy, nutty flavouring with intense peppery notes, not too overpowering on the palette. This is a novice review and these are the flavours what I personally tasted throughout this short, enjoyable experience. Nice short smoke, enjoyable with a coffee especially, the chocolate have a hint of sweetness to the experience and is something I enjoyed!

Cheeky little number this one. Didnt find it overly strong but did enjoy the crisp nutty spice of it an a beautiful smooth smoke. The experience was a lot better than I expected for what is a budget cigar. Cant fault it, on my re-buy list for sure.

Vertigo by Lotus Big Boy Cigar Cutter - 64 Ring Gauge
Date Added: Saturday 09 June, 2018
This cutter is functional, but nothing special - definitely representative of the price, but what can you expect for £2? The blades are not very sharp, perhaps similar to my 10 year old well used penknife blade. I can press on them heavily with my thumb without any pain. Mine came with what look like injection molding burrs on the body of the black plastic, these can be cut or sanded off in manufacturing easily, so this is a shame. Also, there is a nick in the cutting edge of one of the blades. As far as I can tell is hasnt affected the sharpness or cutting ability of the cutter but again it is a shame that more care hasnt been taken in manufacturing. The actuation of the cutter is surprisingly stiff, there is a remarkable amount of friction between the blades and the case. The blades do not move under gravity whatsoever, taking significantly more force than that to move. There is no fault with CGars here, just the product itself. Their service was supreme. Overall, Id only recommend this product if you cant spare the extra cash - just spend the extra money on a cutter that c

I am pufging one right now and all i can say is it is a pepper bomb. An extremely well made stogie. Pergect actually. But i dont normally go for the spicy ones. After the first 10 mins it does cool down to a leathery cedery note. A great alternative to bolivar. Much more pepoer though. I like it but not a daily smoke im afraid.

Just smoked the second one of these. Too strong for me, with enough nicotine to stop a horse. I can see why others rave, though.
