This is good stuff!
Drink this and be taken back hay bailing in an episode of Little House on the Prairie.
Sweet, dry grass and well controlled fire in the mouth. I tried this with a Hoyo Epicure No.2 and due to the light-volatile aromatics of this Rye it worked very well.
For me, a mouthful of summer, thoroughly enjoyed it and was left wanting more!
100% recommend and would buy for myself.

Stalla Dhu Islay - 70cl 40%

Found this a little too punchy on the peat for my taste however, in an attempt to be objective: a good mix of all the classic Islay traits with the later notes lingering pleasantly in the mouth for a good length of time. A whisky to be taken slowly!
Would recommend and buy for friends who like Islay Whiskies.

Bought two of these to try. They were both so tightly wrapped that neither of us could get a draw so getting it lit was even hard. Tried rolling it to see if that made a difference, it didn't. I then chopped the cigar further up to see if that would allow us to get a draw, it didn't. It was totally unsmokable. What a disappointment. I returned inside with my friend to my humidor and we selected another cigar each which we both enjoyed.
So glad I didn't buy a box if they were all like this.

Firstly I’m a cognac drinker , reason being years ago I tried whiskies and really didn’t like them I tried all sorts but they just didn’t do anything for me , so tried remy Martin vsop and loved it . Few years later thought I’d give whisky another go and I saw this rye and heard good things . No still not for me it’s to harsh and really just tastes of alcohol to me with a weird taste of herbs or something

Outstanding, thoroughly enjoyed this cigar! One of the most enjoyable smokes i have had in a long time.
The aroma was inviting, held ash very well and the draw was excellent. I was left wanting more. I will be adding these to the wish list.
Definitely worth a punt, for those who enjoy R&J, Monte, etc and want to try different Cuban but still savour the subtle flavours.
i am no connoisseur by any stretch, i paired this with a cup of coffee and a cheeky light rum afterwards and all the flavours married up beautifully.

Tried one of these today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Really nice flow, draw. I love cigars that have a nice easy draw and this was fantastic. Definitely adding this to my regulars.
