Romeo y Julieta No. 2 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 06 August, 2017
Lovely cigar. As a beginner I appreciate a tasty uncomplicated smoke and this cigar came through in style. Lovely flavours developing nicely throughout with an easy draw. Held it's own against two pints of Guinness without being overwhelmed and stayed tasty to the end.

Fantastic Cigar! Thick voluptuous creamy smoke which coats the entirety of your mouth and is an absolute pleasure is placed alongside tastes of coffee and nuts. The formation of the stick is almost perfect with only a slight hitch in the burn but as the stick progresses this evens out. Around an hours smoke (if you can keep it out of your mouth long enough). If you are thinking of buying this cigar then do...but not them all as it's one which i will be purchasing again! 9.5/10

Regius Media Coronas - 1 Single

I picked up a couple of these to try, and I have to say I really like the size. Perfect for me as I like a medium to large ring guage cigar that can easily be fitted in to a lunch break. However I'd have to agree with Stuart's review of the corona here: https://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/regius-corona-cigar-single-pri-16544.html?reviews_id=5088 I found it to be something of a harsh, bitter smoke and not really enjoyable. Will be sure to give the other one some time in my humidor before trying again, hopefully some aging will allow it to mellow and develop some more pleasant flavours.

Romeo y Julieta No. 2 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

Great smoke. This was my first Romeo y Julieta cigar and it was light and smooth with a fairly even burn (it started getting a little uneven at the start of the final third) and held its ash well. It went very well with a cappuccino. Creamy throughout and got a little spicy in the final third. I haven't given it 5 stars as there are others I prefer, although I found this a great afternoon/ lunchtime smoke and will likely get some more.

Rafael Gonzalez Perlas Cigar - 1 Single

A superb small Cuban hand rolled cigar that cannot be beaten for the price, construction on par with a Monticristo, excellent draw with flavour of a grassy hay starts off relatively mild in the first third rising to medium in the second third then finishing quite strong but never bitter in the last third, Highly recommended for a forty minutes smoke with a good cuban cigar aroma
