The Romeo y Julieta Churchill is a superb cigar, an excellent draw with plenty of smoke from the out set, the cigar starts off quite mild for the first third then gradually growing in strength with spicy almost malty undertones the finish is quite spicy but very satisfying
Highly recommended for that special occasion or when you have a couple of hours to spare to contemplate life the universe and everything, I also recommend the Wide Churchill if you like large ring gauge cigars this is the one for you, both are superb

Just an amazing cigar - I was originally after a Partagas Serie E No.2 and when they were out of stock i was recommended the Wide Churchill by Romeo y Julieta.
Having never previously gotten on with RyJ's I was very dubious but the sales clerk was adamant I would enjoy it as it was similar to what I was originally after.
Having trusted this guy before on other recommendations I bit the bullet and bought one of these.
WOW, just wow. The flavours were subtle yet full and complex. The condition of the cigar was perfect, it lit easily with a match and stayed reasonably even till just over the halfway mark where I think I forgot to pay attention to the burn as I was enjoying it so much.
The ash was almost white, similar to what you get of the Hoyo de Monterrey's .
needless to say I was very upset when it finished.
This is def going to be part of my new stpale, maybe even more so than the Serie E

Well I tried the 2nd one last week a my shoot after it had been in the humi for a month , well a slight improvement but I've had better Romeo's in the small gages.

I expected a Romeo & Julieta to be an excellant smoke , but I found the Exhibition Nr:4 to be a let down , with it's uneven burn & disability to hold ash more than an inch at a time , made for a rough quick burn , the smoke produced was when one got past the blue, white but intermittent the draw was easy enough after the first 1 1/2 inches but did have some undertones of cinnamon but was in no way regular for this , I disliked the taste at near the middle as it got progressively stronger and rounded off a disappointing experience with a thoroughly nasty one.Don't get me wrong as I am used to full taste cigars , but I think I would have a better experience with a Jose L Piedra Conserva of which I have a few left , when this cigar was delivered it felt a little dry so I left it in the humidor for a few days to condition , as this normally improves a cigar , perhaps I got an off one , I have another in the humi , as I always buy two of a new cigar to try , maybe the next one will be better.

These cigars are my personal favourite. They have a very good construction and are very consistent in their appearance. The simple band is understated and the burgundy theme compliments the 12 year old Madurai wrapper perfectly.
On lighting, there is a profusion of thick creamy white smoke which fills the room in which you smoke this cigar. The flavour is rich and sweet to my palette and gets increasingly spicy as the experience progresses. I am sorry to say that I enjoy this cigar so much I smoke.well past the band and nearly burn my fingers.
An excellent cigar and one to try as an excellent , no, better alternative to the Cuban.

Cigars arrived quickly and in excellent condition. For the price these cigars are a wonderful smoke. Take about 45mins each cigar and having smoked 5 out of the 10, all have a very smooth and easy draw and are of mild strength. Exactly what I wanted and great to hand around at parties. Would certainly recommend.
