Romeo y Julieta Cedros de Luxe No. 3 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 14 January, 2012
I tried the Cedros de Luxe No. 3 for the first time tonight and from the second I lit it, it became my new favourite cigar. The taste is absolutely fantastic, very creamy and tastefully sweet, I'm still tasting on my tongue. The construction and appearance was great although I had to touch it up due to a slight uneven burn, but it was worth it. Perhaps my favourite thing about it aside from the taste was how good the draw was, the perfect amount of resistance (very little) with lots of creamy, rich smoke pouring through from the first (and I mean very first) drag, to the last. And as if that wasn't enough, the price is very good for such a great stick. It's £2 less than my previous favourite stick, great value for a real gem. I cannot recommend this enough, new cigar smokers will love it. Give it a try!

Man this stick surprised me, didn't expect anything special but it really did the trick. Lovely smoke, tasty, nice smell, great draw, creamy smoke with earthy tastes and a little spice. I'm here to buy a few more in fact, so is there any better recommendation than that? Give it a go, bargain for the great quality smoke.

Well this is my second RyJ Cedros No.3 from a second order and it will be my last I honestly believe that they put the cedar wrap on the cigar to disguise the ugliness and vainy wrapper hardly much different to the Guantanamera Cristales i smoke and enjoy regularly I expected more from RyJ so to continue and having taken the cedar wrapper off found the cigar very solid in fact too solid I clipped the cigar with my Xikar cutter and then toasted and lit the cigar , It was very hard to draw and took all the pleasure out of smoking it, the smoke and flavours were lovely then the uneven burning started again, I smoked the cigar for over an hour but never became any easier to draw so was virtually exhausted at the end, never again, and really putting me off the RyJ brand as the Churchill my wife bought me for my birthday was a pain to, Going back to my Staple but lovely Cristales and ordered a Monty No.4 the world most popular Cuban and also a Por Larranaga Petit Corona looking for a cigar thats a good smoke strait away and with the potential for ageing when I get Adorini Humidor

Well first one of these and have to say they would have been my ideal cigar, well built and a nice draw with a beautiful mild but very flavorsome taste, A big issue of uneven burn came into play after the first third and also it went out twice so sounds like a cigar that carnt be left unattended for too long also a minor point but I like to leave the band on my cigars call it snobbery or just some where to hold the cigar you carnt really put the band back on once you have removed the cedar wrap has it is too loose being made to the wrap and cigar, might have been unfortunate with this particular one so will give the benefit of doubt and try another one very soon.

Must admit I wasn’t expecting much of this, previous RYJ’s had been harsh and not very pleasant, however I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is a little gem, very easy draw all the way to the nub. Smooth creamy smoke which coats the palette, the first 3rd was light in flavour but the flavour started building and by the time I reached the band it had become medium flavoured but not harsh. Took about 45 minutes to smoke all the way and this is one of the very few cigars which I have had that burns strongly in the ashtray. Smokes all the time and produces firm ash which didn’t fall until I was half way through. All in all a very nice surprise and I have ordered some more to lay down and see how they mature.
