Quorum Shade Grown Tres Petite Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 02 September, 2018
Smoked this cigar on a Friday night after a stressful week at work, the cigar had been left to rest for a good 4 weeks in the humidor. Being one of the cheap cigars in my collection i hadnt bothered with it but what a surprise i had when i lit her up! The cigar burned perfectly, no doubt about it. A beautiful Oaky aroma with a mild taste of coffee and the draw was just right. With the cigar being so light id say it would be a great beginners cigar and an excellent daily smoke. 100% buying some more.

Lovely cigar and stockingly good value. Mild and flavorsome, I will certainly be buying again. Not a complex cigar but at this size and price is certainly punching above its weight.

After reading other reviews I was very carefull with this stogie. Still after 2 minutes the wraper began to flake and unfold. The burn became uneven several times aftr 20 minutes. That said it had a good draw and pleasant flavour, I might buy again on those grounds and the low price

Quintero Favoritos Cigar - 1 Single

A Cuban robusto for a little over a tenner, where’s the catch? Price is not something i think about much when buying a cigar, as I am an infrequent smoker, but although I have old favourites, I like to work my way through a good variety of cigars. Robusto is my favoured size, as it gives a cool easy draw and much of the flavour associated with the larger vitolas, in a more compact smoke. So this was one I’d wanted to try for some time, but as with most cigars, a little humidor time can often help bring out the best. Construction is average, but that’s not a criticism, as it’s more than adequate, with quite veiny leaves used in the wrapper and a few minor discolourations. The cap is well attached and you’re not going to get any unravelling from making a big cut. Colour is a nut brown and the aroma unlit is of cedar and earth. To the touch this is a slightly spongy cigar, which i felt may be indicative of a loose construction and less tobacco leaves used, so essentially built to a price. It lit easily and first impressions were of ceadar, leather and maybe a slight nut

Quorum Maduro Churchill Cigar - 1 Single

I found this a fairly unremarkable smoke, it is by no means a bad cigar but for the price you can do better. fairy mild but it gets better in the last third. I found it was much better as a straight cut rather than a punch as the draw is fairly tight. It is not one I would by again, however if someone offered me one I would smoke it quite happily. Probably a good first time maduro.

I'm not going to go on about tastes and smells. I will say that it was an enjoyable smoke, great with a porter. Lit well and burnt evenly. Got a good 35/40 minutes out of it before the taste became a bit bitter. Held together well, with a good mouth feel. I am sure there are better on the market but I've paid a lot more for big names, and this little beauty holds its own. Great value for money!
