Peter Stokkebye Kentucky Maroon Pipe Tobacco Loose
Date Added: Tuesday 20 May, 2014
This was one of the first pipe tobacco blends I ever tried and I find myself returning to it again and again. I find it to be the ideal balance of aromatic and natural tobacco flavours. It can occasionally be slightly sharp when first lit, but very quickly settles down into a wonderfully mellow smoke, giving notes of honey, nut and chocolate with a delicate room aroma. This is an ideal smoke for people who are looking for a sweet aromatic blend, but find the American style aromatics to be too heavily scented. Also very well suited for beginners, or as an early morning smoke as it is very forgiving on the palate. -Calum, Turmeaus Chester.

Por Larranaga Petit Coronas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 10 May, 2014
been looking forward to this little beauty for some time after reading the reviews.....im in no way an expert or a connoisseur but i know what i like.....im not going to be pretentious and prattle on about this flavour or that but after a nice meal (biryani) i settled out the back door with a bottle of Tsing Tao and had a very pleasant hour with both. every bit as good if not better than a monte #4 (if you get a good one)and would thoroughly recommend as an addition to anyones humidor.....

Punch Petit Coronations Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

Not a bad all rounder this one, smokes well, solid medium flavour throughout, spicy little kick at the end!, (for the money the H Upmann coronas jnr is a better cigar.)

Partagas Serie D No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 23 January, 2014
Look, I'm no expert, but these are really good. I only smoke about one cigar a month, usually larger gauge, and Partagas have never let me down. I nearly burnt my fingers on this one, smallest stub I ever left. Perfect draw, perfect burn, perfect taste, perfect! I've just ordered a 10 box.

Partagas Serie D No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 07 December, 2013
The D4 is not a cigar for the faint hearted or the impatient this cigar needs respect and lots of TLC before it can be enjoyed to the full this is a cigar that cannot be really smoked strait out of the box on the day of delivery if you do it may be harsh and bitter it needs at least a month of rest in your humidor before the harshness and bitterness start to fade away and the true flavours of tobacco and spice start to shine through this is a cigar that the longer you leave them the better they become an aged D4 is one of the finest Robusto cigars in the world and a joy to behold.

Partagas Serie D No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 02 October, 2013
I am really sad to say me and this particular vitola haven't really had a great relationship. After giving it 3 attempts I had to declare this one a 'one-to-forget' cigar. I have a lot of respect for Partagas and have given a few other vitolas the time of day to re-instate a love for one of the most recognisable brands. (SerieD5 Limited Ed & Serie PNo.2 have both been FANTASTIC!). I'd definitely need some convincing about these. The tastes were too earthy, too harsh and a bit too bitter for me, in all 3 sticks. I've seen really great reviews of these cigars. This goes to show the true beauty of the cigar community, I love how everyones pallet takes to different notes and flavours and truly respect this highly popular cigar.
