Partagas Series D No. 5 newbie review.
In pitch black I torched this one pretty poorly which resulted in a canoe in the burn. That said the burn corrected itself well right to the end with no touch ups. The ash was really good and the cigar held up well throughout.
1st 3rd - Peppery to start and a little strong at first. Earthy, herby, dried fruit a lot like hot mulled wine.
2nd 3rd - a hint more pepper mulled wine with a hint of zest stayed background.
Final 3rd - got a little more earthy and punchy but the mulled wine taste remained. A bit of tobacco and tingle on the tastebuds at the very end.
Throughout this was smooth and creamy that felt like the film feeling youd have on the roof of your mouth and tongue as if youd savored a good desert like a creme brulee.
Really enjoyed and as close to a 10/10 as Ive had in cigar so far. Glad I bought a 10 box, will definitely come back to this and tempted to now consider a trying the D4 now.

I was given this in September for my birthday and wow it works and has saved and made good some wonderful Cuban cigars, that would otherwise have had a bad draw be worse be unsmokable; instead they were what was intended: a lovely smoke, thanks to this now essential tool, that though only used occasionally... is a must have for every cigar enthusiast \addict.

Ive been using this for five years and have mainly kept it in its simulation (which Im happy about) leather case and it has always including three times today cut perfectly and is now back in its case awaiting further use

Peterson De Luxe Mixture Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin

This bled burns nicely from the moment you open the tin and has a lovely aromatic vapour of sweet plumbs and honey I would highly recommend it and a session in Turmeaus Sample room as it really hightens the experience

A good cigar, I was slightly worried when I chose this cigar as it felt slightly dry and a touch loosely packed but I pressed on and was not disappointed. The pre light smell was of cocoa and a bit of farmyard, on lighting it was very peppery which worried me as I dont like too much pepper but again I soldierd on. The pepper faded after 5-8 minutes into dark chocolate which stayed until the end where caramel and cream faded in and out. The draw was good as was the burn with no correction needed. A lovely lovely cigar if you persevere with it. There are better cigars for the price but not many.

Partagas Shorts Cigar - 1 Single

After liking a few partagas cigars and finding there cigarillos best of all the Cuban ones. I can honestly say That I
was looking forward to this but feel bit disappointed flavour was very mild and lacking something. Very earthy and one dimensional shame really as the burn and draw etc were perfect. Hopefully just bad one got another 3 in humidor. Hopefully just a poor one.
