Partagas Shorts Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 15 September, 2020
Great short smoke. Full of flavour while not reaching the strength of other Partagas I have smoked. Will be a staple in my humidor.

Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto II Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 07 September, 2020
One of the very best cigars I have ever smoked and it only had 3 days in the humidor after delivery. I couldnÂ’t wait, it looks like a delicious bar of dark chocolate. 60 ring gage is about as wide as I go but this was very comfortable to smoke. The flavours are very complex, the retrohale is just amazing. This cigar rewards patience. I like to take long, deep draws of my cigars so it behooves me to wait a couple of minutes between draws so the tobacco does not overheat. On this cigar it matters more than any other. If you smoke this too fast you will get pleasant but unremarkable flavours, still a good cigar but not note worthy. But if you treat it gently this will be your opus. It is hard though, when you have an awesome draw you want to experience it again straight away. I have got to buy a box of these, see how much better they get when they rest and smoke them in conversation, so I donÂ’t have to sit there like a junkie waiting for his fix for 2 mins every time I draw on it!!!

Partagas Serie D No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 29 August, 2020
This was a positive but weird smoke for me. As of writing this I am at the nub, having been provided with an complex experience. The cigar had a fresh farmyard aroma, which is a favourite for me. First light started off as a grassy, light earth, slowly transforming into a strong woody note that I was slow to pick up on at first. Usual nutty flavour showed itself almost all the way through. Final third was the most interesting however. A peppery taste hit the retro hard, but not unpleasant, then a fresh barley taste as if it was straight from the field. Finally, I’m getting an extremely strong salted peanut taste. Fantastic little smoke, will be on the list for down the line agin for sure!

Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Candente Cigar - 1 Single

Well constructed, nice even burn producing a strong 2 inch ash. Draw and smoke output was good, flavour a little spicy but quite mild. No re-lights or touch ups required.

Partagas Presidentes Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 24 August, 2020
Thoroughly enjoyable smoke with typical Partagas flavours. Albeit this is a Taco Ive learnt my lesson from these Belicosos shaped cigars and ended up making a first cut which was more of a snip and just removed the tip at the smoking end, then a second cut further up the smoking end of the cigar to get the right amount of smoke. What I would call typically Cuban flavours all the way down, as you get similar flavours apparent in an H.Upmann, HdM and RyJ, according to my taste buds anyway, not necessarily the predominant flavours but there all the same. It lasted me about an hour, just the job.

Punch Petit Coronations Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 16 August, 2020
Tried this as my first venture into Cuban cigars for some years. Absolutely loved this cigar, found it to be completely enjoyable from start to finish. The wrapper had a beautiful oily texture to leave my lips feeling moist, whilst the medium strength flavour had a nutty quality. I sipped a bourbon alongside and complimented perfectly. Nice, easy draw, beautifully made with a nice and even burn and didn’t overheat. Can’t wait for my second experience of a Punch.
