Perdomo 10th Anniversary Connecticut Super Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 02 January, 2025
This cigar took me almost 2 hours to smoke to the end. Not a bad smoke but not in my top 10. I had no issues bar once needing a touch up due to an uneven burn down one side. Flavour wise it was fine, about medium on the spice side.

Wood, Leather and some bitter chocolate plus a nice amount of spice. Plenty of smoke per puff. Well built straight burn line all the way to the nub. I like a cigar that you can put down and pay no attention to it and this is one of those cigars.

Partagas Serie P No. 2 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 24 December, 2024
A truly flavoursome cigar throughout. Stored away in the humidor for over three years and definitely worth the wait. Very consistent burn with quality construction as expected. Clouds of smoke is always a welcome bonus. Spent a good hour on this and worth every penny.

Plasencia Reserva Original Piramide Cigar - 1 Single

Well constructed and easy yo smoke with no issues. Cedar, Toasted nuts and espresso with a medium amount of spice. Nice mouth feel with plenty of smoke and a straight burn line made this cigar great to smoke after a nice Sunday roast. Held the ash fairly well.

Plasencia Cosecha 149 La Vega Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Plasencia, fast becoming one of my favourite brands. This cigar is very smooth, with a nice even burn and a nice draw. Amazing value for money as well, other brands, you could easily be paying double. Took me personally about an hour to get through. I found the flavours didn't change too much, but still very enjoyable smoke and certainly will be getting more to keep in my humidor

Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I really wanted to like this cigar but alas its not for me. Even before I cut the cap I tried a dry draw and unexpectedly I could draw so I lit the cigar without cutting. Even though I could draw it was a little tight so I clipped a small amount off the cap and then there was plenty of draw. Medium + flavoured, woody with leather and some spice and maybe a touch of espresso. The further you went down especially the last third and to the nub this was fairly nice just a bit too much spice for me. I had to touch up only twice due to an uneven burn line but nothing too drastic, and removing the band was simple with no issues. Would I buy it again ? probably not as it was a little overpowering for me but for those who like the spicier smoke this is for you.
